That was what I wondered the first time I heard it!!!

No, it has to be some weird new drug, meant to make the world look like flashing rainbows.

The truth turned out to be somewhat tamer, but still fascinating.

Eth Wrapped Colx is actually a ColossusXT coin wrapped up in Ethereum. Why would anyone want to wrap a Colx coin in Ethereum (or anything else)?

The answer is simple. Decentralized exchanges can't handle a ColossusXT coin unless it's wrapped in Ethereum first. And don't you love the option of trading while keeping your funds safe and sound in your own wallet? Who wants to risk having funds stolen if the exchange is hacked?

With the Ethereum wrapping, Colx can be listed for free on trusted decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap. A wrapped Colx coin is actually an erc-20 token that is backed 1:1 by Colx.
