Rating Users I just did something I had promised I would never do. I rated two users, https://noise.cash/u/AnnieMarie and https://noise.cash/u/Monalisa4328 . What rating did I give them? Why EXCELLENT, of course! Why bother to rate somebody if you aren't going to give them the best rating? (That's my thoughts on it, anyway.) Why these two users? They were brought to my attention as users whom the auto-mod rating procedure had unfairly slammed for some vague transgression, or were victims of an attack by one of the occasional wackos who briefly drift into noise.cash, cause some irritation and chaos, then are booted off. "If I ask you nicely, will you give me a good rating too?" No. I do not plan on giving anymore ratings unless users in a similar predicament to these two are brought to my attention by certain other users I trust. "Is this permissible here on noise.cash?" I don't know. It should be! "Why are you doing this?" I don't know. It gives me nice feelings, I guess. "I was also unfairly flagged by the auto-mod / bullied and flagged by a random sicko. Can you help me?" No. The other users I trust are putting together a process for folks like you to follow. It's not official yet, so be patient. "Should I ask the two users you helped what they did to get noticed, and helped?" No. I'm not even sure they know who chose to help them, or why. "I'm not getting tips anymore. What should I do?" Until the "appeal process" is finalized, I really don't know. Just keep posting good content, and enjoy interacting with the other folks here on noise.cash. "Why won't you help me too? Are you a jerk?" I hope I'm not a jerk, but if you don't understand why I can't help you after reading this post, then I'm afraid that noise.cash may not be the place for you. We all have finite time, energy, and resources, and although we try to fix inequities, at its core life is still very, very unfair.
