How I Intend to Use Noise.Cash, Now That All the CHIPs Are Eaten If you haven't noticed yet, CHIPs are vanishing from noise.cash. (See: https://noise.cash/post/1628kp63 and https://noise.cash/post/1628v755 ) As such, we won't be able to give free CHIPs to posts or replies we like anymore. My favorite trait of this site is the ability to interact with other people, to chat back and forth about things. CHIPs helped facilitate this dialog, but now that they are gone we will have to make do with the ❤ button. Going forward, I will hit the ❤ button on posts and replies I like. (Be patient with me on the replies - oftentimes they "disappear" into the bowels of my noise.cash history, and I have to go digging for them.) MOST replies to my posts will get the ❤ button activated, even if you disagree with me and criticize what I have posted. If you call me an ignorant, sexist, butthead jerk, AND follow it up with the reasons WHY you say that, I will probably hit the ❤ button on your reply. The only thing I will ignore is unsupported insults, and what I consider Spam. What do I consider Spam? Monosyllable replies such as, "No", "Yep", "Okay", "Hi", and other thoughtless replies such as my favorite, "Add me add u". Note that I do NOT consider the reply, "Thank you", as Spam. I consider that a polite response, and appropriate to a conversation. In this I am in disagreement with official noise.cash policy, as explained here: https://noise.cash/post/lq8r4v67 . So if you reply "Thank you" to something I wrote, I will probably give it a like. Just bear in mind that the noise.cash admins frown on "Thank you" replies. Now, ignorant, sexist, butthead jerk that I am, I need to get busy replying "Add me add u" to every new post that I can find!

Thank you for making me laugh right before bed. I have been using the hearts in a similar way but I have been a little bit more careful in my steps to assure I don't tread wrong on any new rules until I feel things out a bit. If I'm in doubt, I'll wander to a person's profile, find a good post and get to hearting my heart out.
Not me! How does the saying go ...... fools leap where angels fear to tread? I'm just blasting away on these ❤️ 's, giving them out like there is no tomorrow.
after the free chips being gone i Actually liked it more it is because i never had enough chips to interact with many people you know seemed like scam if i wasn't rewarding just talking but now i just heart them and comment or reply without checking if i hot any chips Soo ❤️ have my heart now

Add me add you Sir. I value your opinion. Have a splendid day madam.. Joke.. 😁 I kinda like this new update as I like getting little conversations going with people. Previously I would like and then tip on comments. So this just streamlines things for me.. Like & reply is so much faster
True. The only advantage on the CHIPs jar was when there was a really fantastic post, I could give it a whole bunch of CHIPs. The ❤️ 's can't be differentiated like that, at least to my knowledge.
Add me add u... sorry can't help it. We want this site to continue paying out, we should support it and put quality content both in posts and comments. I'm trying to veer away from the usual 'this is what I had for breakfast/lunch/dinner' unless the actual posts tells me something of value. One thing I can't get although I enjoy looking at are the flowers/plants/sunrise/sunset photos. Sure nice to look at but I'm not sure if the admin considers those posts quality content. It is not for me to decide. I like looking at the photos yes, but it has to be something more than the photo for me to consider it a quality post.
Fair enough. On some of the photo posts, the person explains where they were when they took the photo, and how any special effects were achieved. Or they give some information about the location.
Yup, I've seen those posts - photos with explanations and perhaps memories attached to it. Those are fine but some posts are photos - just photos, 'This is the sunset in our area earlier' or 'This was my view this morning.' - it really doesn't give value to the site over-all. Again, these are just my thoughts.
