Kuya's Birthday Party My older son had a birthday party a week or so ago. We roasted a piglet, (lechon baboy), and invited neighbors and relatives to come over. They did, and helped with the cooking and preparations. It was really a group endeavor! The first two photos are of the food we had, and people eating. In the third photo, Kuya is the boy in the blue shirt at the far end of the second bench, (near the blue multi-cab, parked on what is miraculously NOT mud because it had not rained for about 24 hours, which I guess goes to show that "dry" season does sometimes actually cause things to dry out, almost.) The last photo is of the cake. Kuya wanted a Star Wars theme for the party, so that is what he got. Now you must excuse me, as I need to go eat breakfast, and find something to complain about. :-) I wonder what weird, inedible stuff has been prepared for us today? (Ouch! The baby has just kicked me on the foot, catching my toenail! Is this Karma for my ungrateful attitude towards the food God provides for me?) #MyLife

Where are you originally from OldBastard? You have a family in the Philippines now from the looks of it
I'm from the USA, and my wife is from the Philippines. I had to go all the way to Asia to find a woman foolish and desperate enough to marry me! :-) Once I was able to collect a government pension, we moved from the USA to here in the Philippines, because it is so expensive to live in the USA. (If we had stayed there, I could not have retired.) Now we are adjusting to life in the Philippine provinces.
Nice! I lived in Ireland for 12 years. Then came over to Bali, Indonesia 3 years ago on holiday and just never left. New wife, First baby 😁
Belated happy birthday to your brother. The Star Wars themed cake looks great.
The birthday was for my SON. Sorry if I didn't make that clear
