Philippine National Bank Made Good on Their Errors In a prior post, ( https://noise.cash/post/1gzr4n3j ), I complained about how the Philippine National Bank ATM in Molave had taken money from us THREE TIMES, and how the bank hadn't reimbursed us yet. Well, I have to report that as of April 23, ALL THREE BAD TRANSACTIONS HAVE BEEN REVERSED. We now have that money back in our account. Hooray! It embarrasses me a bit to say this, but when we went in person to the PNB branch in Molave, we were treated very, very well. I'm a cynic at heart, so maybe it's because I was the only "kano" in the room, (or more likely because they are hoping to sell us an insurance investment!), but the guy working with us personally went up to the tellers to get us some money we were withdrawing, so we didn't have to wait. (I have mixed feelings about that: what about all the other people who had been waiting before us?) One big difference between the Philippines and the USA is that people in the Philippines who interact with customers do NOT take their jobs for granted. I've encountered maybe one or two indifferent sales clerks in Manilla, but they are the exception. Most filipino customer reps are very eager to please. In the USA the situation is different. Many, if not most, sales clerks act as if the customer is bothering them! To anyone reading this in America: have you ever tried to get help in a Walmart?
