The Mess May Not Be All Putin's Fault User @marsou has posted a plaintive post, ( https://noise.cash/post/1k400zn3 ), about the current disaster in the Ukraine. Please pray to however you conceive of your "Higher Power" that this conflict be resolved quickly, with as little loss of life, limb, and property as possible. However, there is one idea I keep seeing in posts here on Noise.cash, and on other places online, that I believe may be mistaken. This is the idea that the invasion of Ukraine is somehow all Putin's fault. I know I'm a bit of a paranoid fool sometimes, (okay, leave off "a bit of", and that may be more accurate!), but IMHO the depravity of our "leaders" seems to know no bounds. As many of you may know, the American economy is not doing too well at the moment. What could help revive it? Why a nice little foreign war, of course, where the civilians murdered aren't American citizens and the cities destroyed aren't American cities. The Military-Industrial Complex, ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military%E2%80%93industrial_complex ), in the USA is HUGE, and is most likely the leading cause of economic growth or decline for that country. A war in the Ukraine, provided it doesn't end too soon, could provide quite the economic boost to America. Don't believe me? Have you paid attention to American foreign policy this century? How many wars has America been involved in? How many years has America not had troops actively fighting somewhere? War certainly sucks, and Putin sure seems to be a jerk, but we don't know what has really transpired between him and western leaders. Could Putin and the West have some sort of under the table agreement to bleed Ukraine? Oh, but America, the "Land of the Free", would never, ever agree to such an evil thing, right? Well, I DO know that, years ago when the Philippines was attempting to break free of Spanish rule, the USA made a secret deal with Spain to "free" the Philippines. The American military swooped in, and "attacked" the hapless Spanish. The Spanish army was quickly routed, (because they were paid not to put up a fight), and finally the Philippines was free! Ha, ha, ha ...... just kidding. The Philippines now became a colony of the USA, and Filipinos now had to fight America for their freedom, which they only got after WWII. (Hey, maybe the Japanese occupation did have some sort of positive impact?) Never underestimate the duplicity of our "leaders".

Lets help through humble prayers
Yes. Humble prayer is probably the best thing we can do now.
Thank goodness for some old bastard sanitizer on this whole warped view of the US being that savoir....they will not be this time... this time Europe needs to grow a set of balls.... which they probably won't...or will discuss about for the next 18 months....by then...no body will stop that pain in his brain Putin anymore
Thanks! Hopefully I haven't gone completely senile on this horrible issue.
I dont care who is right or wromg this time, but all Im praying is peace coz of the innocents people who are experiencing pain and loss of thier loved oneS
I agree. The tragedy is all the innocent people who will have their lives destroyed.
LoL. Philippines history is history. But I guess we have same idea in this case. Everytime when there is a war, US is never an innocent. They are always involved coz it's their expertise and business!!! We had some discussion about this too an hour ago with @natanson on her post. And I try to ask some specific situation from a Ukrainian citizen, but she can't confirm that it's a Russian people who devastated their city coz all they seen are armored tracks or vehicles. lol
"Everytime when there is a war, US is never an innocent." I'm probably going to have to back out of this conversation, because as an American I eventually get uncomfortable with criticism of my country, justified or not. Despite the existence of horrible institutions like the IRS, I actually love my country, even if I no longer live in it. Yes, the USA has done a lot of horrid things, and yes, y'all should discuss them and bring them out of the shadows into the light. But I don't want to be put in the position where my emotions cause me to attempt to defend the indefensible. So continue what y'all are doing, but I can't participate anymore. Sorry. :-( Oh ...... one final thing. If anyone has a suggestion as to how to stop/prevent/eliminate countries like the USA from making a PROFIT on war, PLEASE write a post about it. Economic growth via the slaughter of foreign citizens has got to stop now!! (How about if people use BCH? That would be a good idea, huh?)
so sad about this news..
