Psychopathy is a language and a convention:

The word psychopathy consists of two syllables, which are psysho, meaning the same, and the word path, which means a person with a specific disease.

It refers to the deviation of the individual from the normal behavior and the deviation in the anti-social behavior and out of his values, standards, ideals and rules. It is also known as the psychopath, the patient, or the mental illness or mental disorder characterized by antisocial activity.

And the definition of the psychopathic personality: -

It is a psychopathic personality, that is, psychologically ill, and characterized by emotional immaturity due to being raised in cold and emotional homes or by weak character construction, due to excessive indulgence so that the individual does not learn from his childhood the suppression of his desires, so that he is at my child's level of self-centeredness or the lack of acceptable social patterns.

Psychopathic cases constitute one of the wing classes, but it is one of the most diverse and different categories, as the French scientist “nobly” described it as :: madness without confusion. ”This case represents a group of disease that does not understand them any disturbance in their actual abilities, but their behavior arrives in a misalignment. To what the behavior of many mentally disturbed people reach, these patients are not psychotic nor are they really neurotic, and they are not of the type of psychosomatic responses at all, and they have one common characteristic among them, which is that they appear to be a disorder of creation, that is, that it emanates from them from the behavior that represents A breach of the moral law prevailing in society.

The scientist (Klasky) developed sixteen characteristics that he considered the most important features of the psychopathic personality.

Medium or high intelligence with artificial charm.

Absence of hallucinations and other signs of irrational thinking.

Absence of anxiety neurotic or other neurological manifestations.

Unsteadiness.

Lack of honesty, lack of sincerity.

Absence of conscience and shyness.

Anti-social behavior.

Poor judgment and ability to learn from experience.

Satisfactory self-centeredness and the impotence of love.

A general decline in most major emotional responses.

Poverty of clairvoyance.

Decreased response to PR.

Narcissistic behavior with and sometimes without binge drinking.

- The absence of serious suicide attempts.

An unconventional, uncontrollable or uncontrollable sex life.

Failure to follow any life plan.

This is in addition to the fact that psychopaths are good at verbally expressing the emotion appropriate to a particular situation, but it is not real or that they express what they do not feel. They also use all possible expressions to apologize for a certain behavior, but it is a false apology.

Types of psychopathic deviation

First: Types of deviation: -

It is impossible to give an accurate, specific, comprehensive description of the types of psychopathic deviation, or rather, of psychopathic characters, because all those who appear in their behavior are so strange that they do not allow them to live and succeed in society, but otherwise they are normal in terms of their bodies and minds.

As I indicated, psychopaths are not people of limited intelligence because most of them are normal in terms of intelligence or above average and usually lack only social intelligence.

These were several attempts to divide or classify psychopaths into different classes, and I will mention two of these classifications:

1 - Rating (David Clark):

A - Aggressive Psychopathic Deviation: -

These are characterized by agitation, violence, cruelty and frequent quarrels, and among them are also alcohol and drug addicts, unstable people, sadistic tendencies, and professional criminals (habitual criminals) who have extensive records in criminality and profess criminality in return for wages they receive from people.

B - incompatible psychopathy.

This type includes a group of those who commit minor types of misdemeanors and those who advocate for society whose faults are a major problem for society and their families, as well as those who are dependent on those who live by force on their families and relatives.

2 - Classification (Bulls - Lands):

A - External psychopathy: -

He is the one who shows an apparent weakness in creation with a feeling of insecurity within himself, and that appears in the strange behavior that he performs.

B - wandering psychopath: -

And so-called because he does not have the ability to stay in one place, but rather he shows a strong desire to move that he cannot control and he cannot overcome, and this movement has no reasonable cause, and it is also called an incapacitated psychopathy.

C - Criminal Psychopathy (aggressive and insensitive): -

Such patients perform aggressive acts and acts of violence against other people or groups without the ability to control their impulsivity, and they are aware of what they are doing without being able to control their deviant behavior.

Some of them may be able to temporarily control the expression of these antisocial manifestations, and that is nothing but waiting for the opportunity and the removal of barriers, and to return to revenge in their well-known criminal method that includes attack, ambush, murder or burning of property belonging to others or theft and this is without a sense of guilt or feeling Guilt and is one of the people who get aroused easily

D - the anxious tired psychopathy: -

These patients are characterized by excessive self-interest and self-sufficiency and they crave greatness and the consequent bad feelings, tired behavior and irritability, and most of them are paranoia (paranoia) and among the characteristics of these patients is that they cannot show evidence of understanding others and have no awareness of the feelings of others or mercy for them

And - explosive psychopathy: -

This category is similar to the insensitive psychopathy of criminals except that this type links his explosion with states of anger and his aggressive behavior may turn towards himself and he commits suicide and this very rarely.

G - pessimistic psychopathy - depressive: -

The patient here does not appreciate himself due to his worth as he looks to the future with pessimism, fun and optimism far from them because they feel that everything in their daily life threatens them with danger, so we find them always thinking about suicide because of the many problems that they can not solve and because of the large number of their concerns.

H - the creative psychopath: -

He is the one who creates creative and innovative stories that are beyond reasonable limits, and it seems that they do not benefit from anything other than comfort and relief from some internal tension, as if the patient has a constant desire to excel himself with this imaginative creativity, and it appears on the stories of these clearly lying, which makes them an important and beloved character Some of them are not liked by others. But the extent of their authorship and production of these lies is unlimited because it does not matter to them if their lies will be revealed or not.

Discussion on the different treatment methods: -

Dr. Saad Jalal reminds us that prison failed to treat psychopathy, social monitoring failed as well as hospitalization failed to achieve that treatment, as well as the failure of both psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, and he also mentioned that this does not prevent finding mere scattered things that the reader encounters about the success of some In one way or another in treating some cases, it was also mentioned that the most difficult obstacle to treating a psychopath might be in his lack of cooperation with the therapist.

However, despite the disagreement over his diagnosis, we can reach a limited amount of treatment methods that are not disputed. We can recommend it as follows: - The necessity of depositing psychopaths in specialized private institutions and not being treated in public hospitals, prisons, or prosecution hospitals due to the lack of a therapeutic atmosphere appropriate to his condition and the requirement for special preparations and special capabilities.

 We recommend not to shorten the duration of psychopathic treatment, as it requires long treatment. Punishment scholars have previously stated that any feasible treatment in the form of a remedial measure that deprives freedom of certain sects, such as homosexuals, juveniles, and habitual criminals, should not be less than a period ranging between six months and a year.

* We recommend that psychopaths not be deposited in general wards of correctional hospitals, but rather they should be placed in private wards, and this is what Klaski went to in 1955 A.D. There is no doubt or disagreement that group therapy is a feasible method for treating psychopathy, provided that the therapeutic environment is prepared for that in an institution that devotes all its efforts to this type of treatment that It has spread in the medical community for its many advantages.
