I don't believe there is one person without something to do and I mean, I don't feel there is anyone without at least one thing they know how to do best - something that comes naturally to them without being forced. We all have a 'gift' as I would call it and we also have the opportunity to learn new abilities.
A lot has been said about Lionel Messi; An Argentine who is skilled with the ball. Many people said football comes naturally to him and I totally agree with them. A lot has also been said about Cristiano Ronaldo; A Portuguese sensation who gave himself to hard work just to succeed. Both found their passion and chose to develop it. So, abilities can be worked upon while I would also say that your 'gift' can become ordinary if you don't sharpen it too. Imagine Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo or any footballer for that matter, not going to training because football naturally comes to them, I don't think they would have achieved that much success.
There is a place where you have to recognize your talent and another place where you develop that talent. You have to give yourself due diligence and be intentional about your growth. Life is for those who can be intentional. Life also responds to pressure and when you exert a certain level of pressure by being prepared, success is bound to happen.
