You haven't been called for you. You have been called to make a difference and impact lives. We are to become the image of God and God is generous. Someone once said: "I would rather live for a day and touch many lives than to live for a hundred years and not be remembered by anyone."

God places importance on generosity and the whole reason why God sent Jesus to earth should open our eyes to how giving God is. He didn't withhold.. He gave.

When you have an awareness, you have to make an impact by taking steps. Most people only speak but rarely take steps to actually make an impact. Someone once said that whatever God opens your eyes to see, it has been placed as a responsibility sometimes for you to solve. There should be that hunger that comes from awareness which will propel us to ACT.

Most people only live for themselves or think for themselves. It's all about what they can amass...what they can lay in store for themselves. It is not all about money, but there are some other things we can be generous with. Jesus was pressed for time heading to another place where He had been called to, yet He made time for the woman with the issue of blood. Giving someone your time also counts for generosity because time is valuable. There is a quote that says, "He who wastes an hour in the morning will spend the whole day searching for it."

You need to get to the point where you have to help others apart from yourself. Sacrifice your time and your resources. Take that time to stop and listen to someone, be generous with your belongings and attention. Learn to accommodate others and learn to leave a bit of you in everyone you come across rather than only taking from others. We need to learn to have the heart of generosity.

Generosity is love in action. You can give without "loving" but you can't love without giving. God is the Father of light in whom there is no variableness. Generosity unlocks certain things we might never understand.

Your generosity honours God. God wants us to be enriched in every way so we can be a blessing; a channel unto others. Giving doesn't mean you have in excess, it only shows where your heart is; to honour God. Some people are always greedy for more but the generous have a kind heart. Generosity is a cure for greediness and it demonstrate your faith in God.

We trust God with everything apart from our resources. We believe in God, trust in Him, believe Him for everything but separate our finances when it comes to God or His House.

Being generous shows the state of your heart and character. If you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth who will then commit into your hands true riches? Being generous brings God's blessings into your life - Deuteronomy 15:10.

What you lacked the most might be the thing you need to give out even more. When what you have is not enough to meet your needs, you might need to turn it into a seed. As you are the answer to someone's prayer, someone will also become the answer to yours. Generosity expands your influence.

You can't light a lamp on the path for others and keep the light from your own path. It doesn't work that way...because those who refresh will certainly be refreshed too.

Thank you for your time.
