The year 2020 will surely go down in history as the most remarkable year of the 21st century. I'm eagerly waiting for when the Guinness Book Of Records would give it that award. (LOL 😃)
Everyone entered this year with high hopes. There were so many revelations flying here and there. Self- acclaimed pastors, prophets and prophetesses were giving their fake declarations.
Some said it is a complete year given the number "2020" . Others said it was a divine year which left me with the question
" Which year was not a divine one?"
🤔( Wonders shall never cease)
None of these soothsayers, foresaw the looming danger from China. All they saw was a prosperous New year and open doors.
But as they were still on the microphone, that danger ( The COVID-19 virus ) struck. They flung away their microphones and scampered for safety. The whole wide world was held to a stand still.
Who could have known?
who could have seen?
From days to weeks and finally to months, the world was like a graveyard (those ones in the movies). Busy cities , states and countries turned into a ghost town ( who could have seen?)
God had mercy at last and sent us help. Before we could know it ,the world opened again.
Normal activities resumed again but by then,the damage had already been done.
But did it end there? 🤔
Hell no!
Diplomatic battles arose in different countries like USA, Nigeria and some parts of the Middle East.
In Nigeria,it was the famous EndSars Protest which saw some Nigerians cold bloodedly murdered by shooting for no just reason.
In USA , Donald Trump unexpectedly lost the presidential election to Joe Biden even after he was comfortably leading some hours before.
Moreover,other happenings that made this year remarkable was ; the withdrawal of Britain from the European Union, the death of Celebrities like Kobe Bryant and his daughter amongst other happenings.
But then,amidst all these unfavorable happenings, I can't term this year " A bad year" . This is simply because,I'm alive and healthy.
None of these happenings affected me in the way that I couldn't recover from them and adjust ( no ! none!🤗). Infact, this year has left me with a lot of experience.
Furthermore, this year has had alot of marriages, pregnancies and births especially after the COVID-19 lockdown.
I guess people were busy falling in love during the lock down and couples were busy making love🤪🤗🤗
But as for me,I neither married nor had a baby. Maybe next year would be a nice time to do that.
