The task you've given me is far more strenuous than I thought.
If this is a game, then it's way too difficult for an Amateur like me.
For I've become lost in reality.
The top gets higher the more that I climb
The ladder seems too long. It creaks as i try to go higher,
Or perhaps we've lost our old rhythm.
The ground keeps calling, The darkness is waiting.
The fall seems inevitable.
Could this be the end?
Or could it all just be a dream?
I guess I'll never know.
Call on me, lest I become oblivion.
I'm in a battle with my own sanity & time isn't my friend.
