1BCH Newsfeed (Processes, Audits, Dev Updates)
Important Updates
Hi All, as suggested by a number of our users, as a trial-run, we are aiming to provide updates on our 1BCH work and progress on a weekly basis.
We will target to provide these updates once every Monday (except today's; next update: 3 Jan 2022 due to Christmas and Year End period). We welcome any feedback on the points below and how we can improve these weekly updates. Kindly understand that we won't be able to accommodate all feedback. Thank you.
Process Improvements
1. Sprinkler intake form: A simple Google form that anyone wanting to contribute to Sprinklers must complete. We will ask for info relevant in helping us set it up. Next step: Will ask community for feedback before implementation. Please see the draft application form here: https://forms.gle/VHGpXwkBepQ8krcJ6
2. Newsfeed Regularity: Once a week, we'll provide an update to the 1BCH community, as mentioned above.
3. Farm Multipliers: Farms of all new coins will now be starting with a 1-2x multiplier. Unless they contribute to our sprinklers (then promotional multipliers). We will inform our community beforehand.
4. Bug reports and Feedback Log: Users will be able to log issues (UI, UX, bugs, etc) via: https://github.com/1bch/1BCH-DEx-Contracts/issues
DEV UPDATES
Charts and Analysis: At about 80%; fixing a few more bugs to ensure accuracy. Expectation: Completion in next 2 weeks
NFT Marketplace: (i) MartianKitties NFTs have been designed by a prominent Egyptian graphic designer; (ii) Pancake NFT code testing in progress. Completion in next 2 to 4 weeks; (iii) collaborations with third parties are in discussion.
Lottery Markets: Preliminary assessment of Pancake code done, and issues spotted. Next step is to work on resolving these issues after Charts and Analysis and NFT Markets.
OTHERS
Website Performance: We now have faster APY loading speeds on 1BCH.com. We have set up our own SmartBCH node, which have enabled us to transmit the relevant information a lot faster than previously. I've just tried and our APYs now load in about 6 seconds (compared to 30 to 40 seconds previously).
Audit: We have engaged InterFi Network to be our 3rd Party Auditor. The audit has been completed and the report can be found at: https://github.com/interfinetwork/smart-contract-audits/blob/main/1BCH_AuditReport_InterFi.pdf We are very pleased and proud to announce that we PASSED the audit with “Low Risk Severity”!
