Initial gra-gra
Initial gra-gra
This phrase is very common in Nigeria and it's often used for people who always show off so early. Initial stands for early while gra-gra stands for show off or show of power or force
The phrase is often used to when people want to show off or intimidate other people with their new position of influence or power too early
One problem with this attitude is that those that exhibit it get tired so early even before their services are needed because because they put in on so much time and energy trying to show off, but when the time comes for them to exercise the power, they can no longer do ot effectively
This attitude is what I've been observing from different people in this new year. Out of excitement for having seen the new year, some people use all their strength to rush into the new year and activities, before they know what is happening they're already worn out because of if you rush into something without caution and proper care you're likely to wear out so easily and early
The best way to approach the new year is "slow and steady approach". Make your plans before any other thing, no matter how long it takes to work out the plan for the year, it's worth it. Take your time and observe, compare and contrast, think properly considering the experiences of last year and the things you hope to achieve this new year
Don't let your emotions to Take the better part of you, put your head to the ground and map out plans that best works for you, so you don't make mistakes that you will regret throughout the rest of the year. The year is still very fresh and bright. Take advantage of that and make out something good
Happy New year!
It was interesting to read about this expression but your grammar needs a bit more attention. It would be a better read if you pay attention to it. You can run the free writing tool Grammarly to help you with that.
