Every good thing we have was given to us by God through one means or the other but sometimes we deny that God ever gave us anything because we believe we get successful due to our struggles and efforts forgetting that God is in the center of everything. The truth is, even the strength and wisdom to struggle comes from God too
The definition of faith above goes to show that even faith which is often believed to be a quality built by believers in order to please God and get favours from him is also a gift from God!
Often times people struggle to build their faith towards God and something they want to get, people go about practicing and reading from different books just to "build up" their faith, but here we're made to understand that even that faith is a supernatural gift from God, only God can give faith to people
What this means is that if you want to have Faith, you have to pray to God for it!
Do not take credit for anything you have because God is the giver of all things, from the air we breathe to the minutes thing we think we own.
It baffles me sometimes when I see people struggling very hard to "remember" reasons to thank God, they try to count God's blessings in their lives but they forget that everything they own is a gift from God. Everything!
If only we knew that God owns everything we have we will never be short of reasons to thank God. Thank God for everything!
