Aloe vera is the name but the local name is Aloe Barbadensis. Now a days,Aloe vera leaves are more popular and more popular. Earlier, this plant was grown in the forest,but now many people are planting tubs at home knowing its benefits.
This plant is now being cultivated commercially. The leaves are large, full and fleshy. The edges of the leaves are sharp.The sticky shell inside the leaf is useful.The colour of the leaves is bright dark green.All parts of this plant including leaves, roots can best used.
Pharmacological action-Purifying, parasitic and destructive. The juice or shell of the leaf acts as a tonic for many diseases. However, if you use this juice directly, it will be harmful instead of beneficial. You have to cut the leaves from the tree and keep them separate for a while. Separate the yellow juice,then cut the tup of the leaf with a knife and take out the inner shell with a cut spoon.
These shells are medicine for various diseases. It is used for cough, weakness, asthma, jaundice, dyspnea and many others diseases. Aloe vera gel works as an antidote to get rid of ance.Drinking a glass of Aloe vera juice on an empty stomach in the morning can get rid of any stomach ailment.
