🌝 The blue moon was seen in the United States on the night of Halloween. It was a rare scene taking place on Halloween as the last full moon occurred around the globe in 1944, CNET cited an American astronomy educator as saying.

The blue moon actually has nothing to do with its color. The first full moon occurring on October 1 is called the Harvest Moon while the second one of the same month is called the Blue Moon. 🌖🌗
