Twist Of Destiny 😰

Just yesterday I was the happiest man on planet earth, we were the best pair in town, so they say. we were being envied by everyone who comes out way. we held hands tight where ever we go as if that we depended on it. she was the most important thing that has ever happened to me since birth. we cuddled kissed warmly every single minute of the day.

I know in me that I have found myself a life partner. she would come over to my place help my old-aged mother in house chores and always assist my father in trimming the flowers and she did that with joy and excitement. my whole family treated her as an angel 🥰. my elder sister will always ask me where or how I met this angel because her type is hard to come by these days.

taking my mind back to where a dhow we first met only brings smiles to my dad's face. I just entered "COLD STONE" one of the busiest eateries In town. moving over to the counter where you can order for whatever you want. she was standing right there facing the counter but the moment I came a waiter quickly attended to me because I was their regular customer 😁 ignoring her that stood there for quite some time.

as soon as I said I want shawarma they hurried to get it for me, after handing the shawarma to me she then told the waiter that she also wanted a shawarma, the waiter told her that she just sold it it it the last one to me. looking at the expression on her face I just felt pity. because the looks can tell that she desperately needed that shawarma. as a gentle guy, I handed it over to her and paid for it. I had to order a burger which I eat with a bottle of chilled Fanta.

She sat just adjacent to me, didn't know why my eyes just had to look her direction all the time but I can't control it either 🌝, we kept having eye contact for long till we left the place, I don't know after that moment the picture of her kept ringing in my head, I couldn't wait for the next day to just go to the eatery hopefully I will find her there. luckily for me, my dream came through. me being a shy type wasn't shy at that very moment it was as if a different force took control of me, all I just wanted was to tell this strange lady how I felt, I just wanted to tell her my mind and damn the consequences.

when we meet at the same eatery she smiled at me lovingly. now I was certain she is onto me as well. I had to buy a plate of fried rice went to her table asked her gently if I could join her she said yes with a big smile. then it all started from that day we became best of friends from best friends she became my missing ribs. she became the one that gives me the strength to live each day. she became the sugar in my life.

I was already ready to settle down with her. she came into my life at the right moment where I had a good-paying job had a house of my own, and the last thing was to see her parents and tell them my intentions towards their daughter. but the cruel and wicked hands of death snatched away my only source of joy😡😭😭.

my whole world came crashing the moment I received that phone call telling me to rush over to the Ibom Specialist Hospital. I rushed there only to see the lifeless body of the woman of my dreams😭😭 at the sight of her stiff body my whole world came crashing I stoped loving life, nothing seems interesting to me again. I thought of inviting death to my life so many times but it seems even death seems to run away from me. what t a life, I never know if I will ever come out of this dilemma.

this was how my love story all came to an end. every time my phone rings I will rush to see if it's my heart code calling I miss her sweet innocent voice she doesn't deserve to die on such soil that can't even hurt a mosquito. I end up blaming my destiny for bringing us together if we were not gonna be forever together till death do us part.
