For me the camera is a tool for exploration and discovery. In this image I can see transformation. I can see the texture of a caterpillar as well as the wings of a butterfly. Details of metamorphosis that I could never see with my eyes. This world is always teaching and I am always learning. Photographed with my Nikon Z9 with nikkor105s and nikon r1c1 macro lighting kit. Putting one light behind the chrysalis helped bring out transparency and texture.
