Myself and my mother Nora, sometime in the early 90’s. I’ve no recollection of what the oversized hands were all about. None the less it looks like a joyous embrace. At our feet is my childhood dog Cailín. Give her a hug, you’ve only the one of them. Here’s to all the mothers.

The moon disappeared briefly behind low-lying cloud, and when it re-emerged the sky had turned beautiful shades of pastel pink as the sun set. All in all, it was a gorgeous evening in Dun Laoghaire…I was glad to witness it. #Dublin #Ireland #DunLaoghaire #FullMoon #SnowMoon
