I love watching patterns mix and come together, like on the wings of a monarch. Butterfly populations seem to be way down this year. I have a few ideas for why...but not really sure what’s going on. They definitely make the world more beautiful. Photographed with my nikon z7 ftz adapter nikkor35mm and an extension tube. I have been playing with using extension tubes on some of my favorite Nikkor lenses so I can focus even closer.
