The ideal camera is one that removes friction between the picture you imagine, and the picture you create. That’s the camera to have. This is the new Nikon Z 9 mirrorless camera. Although I just opened the box, I already know this camera will allow me to make pictures I never could have made previously. When the Z mirrorless was introduced, it completely opened my mind to what’s possible with a camera. (Embarrassingly, I once got choked up speaking to more than 200 fellow photographers while trying to describe the new ways that mirrorless allows me to create pictures) After seeing the capabilities built into this new flagship body, I know the Z 9 will enable even more potential—and far less friction.
