How do you feel when you see this image? I am always trying to put emotions into my images and as I get more and more into photographing flowers, I find it challenging to see what kind of feeling plants can evoke. My first visit to the sunflower farm, the flowers were open, big, beautiful, colorful and bees were flitting about. Three days later, the whole vibe changed. As these stunning flowers shine so bright, they only do so for a short period of time, then they shrivel and fall right towards the sun while all color drains from each pedal. A mass of bees now fight over the last of the pollen. It was a surreal experience having a field of flowers take me to two different places emotionally over just three days (just look at my last post, totally different story). These radiant flowers gave us a glimpse of their beauty and for that, I am grateful. Can’t wait to see them shine again. Photographed with my Nikon z7 nikkor2470
