Bitcoin Cash and Binance Smart Chain should be the closest allies - fighting together against a common enemy. This enemy is NOT Bitcoin or Ethereum. The enemy is HIGH FEES and participation costs - which delay the TRULY mass adoption of crypto.
We all know "the superpowers" Bitcoin Cash universe has:
decentralization;
low fees;
fast processing time;
high merchant adoption;
the best community among all cryptos.
At the same time Bitcoin Cash is not ideal, it has its weaknesses as well. For me the most critical weakness of the BCH universe is:
lack of user-experience infrastructure.
When I write "user-experience" I do not mean nodes, network solutions etc. Crypto newbies all around the world - who MUST be addressed first if Bitcoin Cash wants to be #1 retail, end-point cryptocurrency - do not care how nodes work, they just need them working. Yes, making a technical infrastructure is very important - but who needs it if there are not enough places to apply your crypto?
"User-experience infrastructure" means exchanges, yield farms, auto-compounding solutions and everything else that is becoming a standard in crypto right now.
Try to exchange BCH into ANY other crypto currency.
Try to find a farm or pool for your BCH with competitive rates.
Try to find a centralized (CEX) or decentralized (DEX) exchange for SLP-based tokens.
Lack of user infrastructure is the biggest weakness of the Bitcoin Cash universe right now.
Yes, one of the ways to address this problem is to build inside the BCH universe. But if Bitcoin Cash gives people the freedom to control, save and spend their money - why keep that conservative stance on (not-)using other chains for the best investment opportunities possible?
Binance Smart Chain is centralized... and what?
Yes, BSC is centralized. But nobody is perfect. Even the old proverb "I am not $100 banknote to be liked by everybody" lost its meaning with time because many people here prefer worth of $100 in crypto than banknote itself.
At the same time, strategically & ideologically BCH & BSC offer the world the same main feature - which keeps successfully changing the world.
This feature called LOW FEES.
Which leads to more adoption & inclusivity.
More decentralized, user-driven banking, investments & financial services - for unbanked & uninvested before.
More financial freedom for everybody who decides to take it, with minimal barriers to entry.
Furthermore, BSC centralization is good for Bitcoin Cash. As people will not probably make a centralized chain a "storing point" for their money - reserving this spot for BCH - but will be OK to use BSC projects as a utility, "transit point" in their investment strategies.
"But what if users gone?"
I often hear this argument from the biggest BCH proponents. Guys, people can anyway switch to other cryptos with a couple of clicks, you do not have to be an advanced techie to use BSC or ETH.
We do not need taboos to keep using Bitcoin Cash. We need strong reasons - and we have it.
Bitcoin Cash is an excellent "stable point" for keeping a majority of your crypto worth safe & secure.
PanCakeSwap, BakerySwap or ApeSwap is a nice place to make your funds working.
And then cash out your profits into Bitcoin Cash again!
Making the BCH universe open, relying on market forces instead of formal or informal limitations & prohibitions will actually make all the Bitcoin Cash users more efficient & free.
Everything BSC offers will be in BCH soon with the SmartBCH sidechain that connects all ETH projects to BCH. BSC was just a centralized patch to ETH's high fees, but with high use it also gets high fees.
