First of all, hello, im gonna introduce myself and im gonna write this article in spanish and english so everyone can read it and give insights.

My name is not important but im the CFO of a big company, which means i manage all the money coming in, coming out and the investments we do in fiat money.

I started looking into crypto like pretty much the 80% of the people did, with the epic surge of BTC and how it became the new digital gold. So as i always managed our portfolio carefully and looking into business opportunities, of course when i saw the pump i wanted a piece of the cake of the cryptomarket.

This are my insights on the crypto market that, if you're new to the game and want to apply basics from fiat money investments, you should take into consideration:

1) Most of the time crypto doesn't behave like stocks

What this means is that you could do technical analysis on them to find trends, but it's a market flooded with volatility, because it's driven by the people and no hard cold numbers/contracts/earnings. So be very aware that you may see a huge loss one day and panic sell, but probably next week it will go back up again. Crypto is not for the hot-headed traders

2) Find an exchange/wallet with low fees. I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH

As with stocks, every broker/wallet/exchange has his fees. Nobody works for free, so do your research before starting to pump cryptocurrencys in an exchange only to find out that when you wanna sell for profit and re-buy, your profits are all into fees or worst, your crypto is lost in the web-limbo because they have minimum deposits. Do you research and then plan ahead.

3) Read news. Read social media. Read blogs. This are your earning reports, THIS is your way of coming ahead of the trends.

Most of the time you'll find that when people start pumping a coin it will go up, it doesn't matter what the hell that crypto does, because it's not going up based on whitepapers, it's just going up because people everywhere starts saying you should buy, it will go to the moon. At this point, be aware that you may fall into what it's call PUMP AND DUMP. Some very high reaching youtubers, bloggers, crypto savvy people will start saying that this or the other coin are going to the moon because they will have a big stack of it so they can sell and take profits based on your hope of going to the moon. It's not going to the moon, actually, after you buy and they sell, it's probably going to the trash. Not every coin has a bright future, some has good ideas but really bad execution.

4) Stay on what you know. Diversify, but put your eggs on the bigger basket.

From my personal recommendation, and this is NOT financial advice, there's a few coins that are really the backbone of all this world. Those are Ethereum, ChainLink, Bitcoin, BitcoinCash, Cake, LiteCoin and now the star of the moment its ADA if they get to solve what they're promising to solve.

5) BitcoinCash and the problem nobody wanted to see, because nobody thought it would go with this massive reach

Minimal fees. Low cost on transactions. Instant crediting. This is literally the adoption of fiat money on a blockchain. Since crypto is worth what people say it's worth --- decentralized, nobody regulating the price, no central banks or governments telling us what is worth or what we can or can't do with it --- BCH (BitcoinCash) it's gonna be the most used crypto for small fee transactions and everyday buy and sell.

To be adopted as universal money it needs to have all what bitcoincash has. Massive reach, instant cretiding, low fees on gas. So this is a train i will recommend you jump on and stay on it. It will become the next US Dollar in 5 or 10 years.

To sum it up, this is not financial recommendation, this is what i see from the fiat money investor point of view. It's a pure personal opinion. Do as you please, me, as a more conservative type of investor i only play what i believe it will be good in 5 years when all the smoke disipates. Primero que nada, hola! Me presento. Mi nombre no es importante, pero soy el gerente financiero de una empresa grande, lo que significa que mi tarea es manejar todo el dinero que entra, el dinero que sale y las inversiones que hacemos con dinero fiat.

Empecé a mirar el negocio de las crypto como casi el 80% de la gente lo hizo, cuando BTC se fue a las nubes y se convirtió en el nuevo oro digital. Como siempre manejé el portfolio de la compañía de manera muy cuidadosa y buscando oportunidades de negocio, por supuesto que cuando vi el salto quise una parte de la torta de las criptomonedas.

Estos son mis pensamientos en el mercado crypto que, si sos nuevo en el juego y querés aplicar lo básico del mercado de inversiones de dinero fiat, deberías tener en consideración:

1) La mayoría del tiempo las crypto no se comportan como las acciones

Lo que significa es que podrías hacer análisis técnico en ellas para encontrar las tendencias, pero es un mercado lleno de volatilidad, porque lo maneja la gente y no números duros y fríos de precios, contratos y reportes de ganancias cuatrimestrales. Hay que estar muy atento a que podrás ver una pérdida enorme un día y vender por pánico, pero probablemente la próxima semana vuelva a subir de nuevo. El mercado de las crypto no es para los cabeza-caliente. Corazón caliente, cabeza fría.

2) Encontrá un exchange/wallet con fees de transacción bajas. ESTO ES MUY, MUY IMPORTANTE

Como con las acciones, cualquier broker/wallet/exchange tiene sus costos. Nadie trabaja gratis. Así que hace tu investigación antes de empezar a mandar cryptos a un exchange para después darte cuenta que cuando querés vender para tomar ganancias y quizás volver a comprar, tus ganancias van todas a pagar esos costos de transacción, o peor, tus crypto quedaron perdidas en el limbo de la web porque tienen un depósito mínimo y enviaste menos del mínimo. Hacé tu investigación y después planea acorde a eso.

3) Lee noticias. Lee las redes sociales. Lee los blogs. Estos son tus reportes de ganancias, ESTA es la forma de adelantarse a las tendencias para tradear.

La mayoría del tiempo vas a encontrar que cuando la gente empieza a "manijear" (PUMP) va a subir, no importa qué hace la crypto, porque no va a aumentar acorde a los whitepapers, va a subir porque la gente en todos lados empieza a decir que deberías comprar, que va a ir "a la luna". En este punto, está atento a que quizás vas a caer en lo que se denomina "PUMP AND DUMP". Algunos youtubers, bloggers, entendidos de las crypto que tienen un alto alcance de audiencia van a empezar a decir que esta o esta otra moneda se van a la luna porque tienen un stack enorme. Entonces pueden vender y tomar sus ganancias basados en tu esperanza de que literalmente se va a ir a la luna. No se va a ir a la luna, de hecho, probablemente después de que vos compres y ellos vendan, probablemente se vaya a la basura. Así funciona el mercado accionario y el mercado de crypto es igual, solo que con diferentes jugadores. No todas las cryptomonedas tienen un futuro brillante, algunas tienen muy buenas ideas pero muy mala ejecución.

4) Quedate en lo que conoces. Diversifica, pero pone la mayor parte de tus huevos en las canastas más grandes.

Desde mi recomendación personal, y esto NO ES consejo financiero, hay algunas monedas que son la columna vertebral de todo este mundo digital. Esas son Ethereum, ChainLink, Bitcoin, BitcoinCash, Cake, LiteCoin y la estrella del momento es ADA si logran resolver lo que vienen prometiendo resolver.

5) BitcoinCash y el problema que nadie quería ver, porque nadie pensó que podría llegar a ser así de masivo.

Fees mínimas. Bajo costo en transacciones, acreditaciones instantáneas. Esto es literalmente la adopción del dinero fiat en una blockchain. Ya que la cryptomoneda vale lo que la gente dice que vale --- descentralizada, nadie regula el precio, no hay bancos centrales ni gobiernos diciéndonos qué vale o que podemos o no podemos hacer con ello --- BCH (BitcoinCash) va a ser la crypto más usada para transacciones pequeñas y para las compras y ventas de todos los días.

Para ser adoptada como dinero universal tiene que tener todo lo que tiene BitcoinCash. Alcance masivo, acreditaciones instantáneas, fees mínimas en gas. Entonces, este es un tren al que recomendaría que te subas y te quedes en él. Probablemente se vuelva el próximo dólar estadounidense en 5 o 10 años.

Para resumir, esto no es una recomendación financiera, esto es lo que veo desde el punto de vista del inversor de dinero fiat. Es una opinión puramente personal. Haz lo que te parezca, yo, como soy un tipo de inversor más conservador solamente juego con lo que creo que va a ser bueno en 5 años cuando todo el humo del hype se disipe.
