The famous "Picada" before the barbecue! #Foods
@NotAgainPls in April 2021
Morning everyone! No travel for me today. In my country it's a semi-holiday (pre-easter) but still we got work to do! :) hope you all have a wonderful day!
I've found this image from the MET gallery pretty relaxing. This is gonna be my new work laptop wallpaper:-) #Art
For the love of God $GGAL going down again. This is the result of all in Argy. Government keep putting pressure on the CCL so the stock goes down regardless of movement abroad. Investing in our local market it's the equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot. FFS
This is another painting from the MET. Loving it :-) #Art
Is it me or there's a lot of bots commenting wow in every post? π€¨
Testing the wow train. Wow.
So the long weekend begins.. Time to chill! π #MobilePhotography
From yesterday's day of work :-) #MobilePhotography
This is the view from the tire of one of the machinery we use for work. By now you should see that I work for in a paving company. I'm the CFO but I always enjoy going to the site and give out a hand when I can. Or in this case, to take institutional pics ! :-) #MobilePhotography
This is an old pic, from Flag Monument in Rosario, Argentina. What you see here it's the celebration of a Boca Juniors championship from a few years back. We get together, thousands of people who don't know each other, jumping, singing, hugging. This is Boca Juniors to me. It's passion, its family, its happiness. #MobilePhotography
The birds perfectly blending with the city life. They have learned that people drop bread crumbs and rest of food so they've found a way to feed themselves without much hassle. And they became comfortable with people around! #MobilePhotography
This is the bridge that crosses right on the side of Santa Fe Capital, we went on a 700 km trip to visit a friend. Exhausting but totally worth it :) #MobilePhotography
It's Easter Sunday so i travelled quite a few kms to see a dear friend that lives far away from home. And here, as usual, the only right way of saying thank you for visiting: A barbecue and a glass of red wine. Hope you are all having a great sunday! #MobilePhotography
Coming back home after a wonderful weekend. Tired for sure but full of energy to start the working week! This is the country side, north of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. As usual, sunset-afternoon it's my go-to time to take pics. :-) #MobilePhotography
Morning everyone, what you see in the background it's "Laguna El Cristal" - or Crystal Lake, north of Santa Fe province. What it's strange about this lake, is that it has direct connection to the Salado River ('Salty River' - although it's fresh water but w/e) so you can find every river species of fish. :-) #NaturePhotography
This is a picture near of Aeroparque, Buenos Aires. What you see there it's an airplane from Argentine Airlines preparing to land. One of the biggest troubles that they have there it's sound contamination. Since it's really close to the city, a lot of neighbors have troubles with the loud noises the engines do. Me? I just enjoy watching them land for a bit before I continue with my day :p #Travel
This was a really rainy day in the corner of one of the offices. Today it's somewhat similar since I started to feel a little bad. With all the precautions and all, I think I may have caught Covid. So to be responsible as everyone should I'm gonna isolate myself just in case. I do not want to keep spreading this thing If i have it. Wear your mask and stay safe everyone! Edit: No travelling for a few weeks so expect a lot more dog pics :p
Passing by San Justo, Santa Fe. A small town in the north of the province. A lot of soy, corn and wheat. This province in particular has really good industries, but mostly the income comes from the commodities and the farms. What it's really atractive about these towns is that the street food it's off the charts. You stop by the roads and you enjoy some of the best foods you'll ever taste and contribute to the town's economy. A place to visit for sure! DISCLAIMER: That's aβ¦
Good morning everyone! Couldn't be there yesterday because of my health, waiting for the test results to come back! But this was a finished paved street we did yesterday. The thing I love about this it's the feeling of stepping into new asphalt. It's so good! #MobilePhotography
Isolation isn't all that bad with the right company. Taking advantage of the forced days off ππ #Dogs
Oh boy when you're used to be all day on the road and now you suddenly can't even go outside it makes you sad, hopefully i'll get good news this afternoon and i'll be on route to new destinations in no time! Take care of Covid people! You can never be too careful! Stay safe and mask up! :) #MobilePhotography
Sometimes I'm funny. Other times, most of the times, im not. ππ #Funny
Mooorning people! back on the roads, my Covid test came back negative! So it's just the mother of all flus. Still taking care of myself but a lot more chill. We need to keep staying safe and watching ourselves. Hope you are all good! The picture it's on my way to a small town where today we're gonna do some paving. That looks like a lighthouse but it seems it's just a electrical pole π #Travel
My take on Crypto - And why $BCH has no roof whatsoever **First of all, hello, im gonna introduce myself and im gonna write this article in spanish and english so everyone can read it and give insights.** **My name is not important but im the CFO of a big company, which means i manage all the money coming in, coming out and the investments we do in fiat money.** I started looking into crypto like pretty much the 80% of the people did, with the epic surge of BTC and how itβ¦
It's a windy day and I'm back in the office for a bit. Cloudy but oh boy it does look like it's gonna be a great great day. Taken with a Samsung S8 just now :-) #MobilePhotography
BTW, i've just wrote an article on read.cash, i don't think i'll be writing more but it's my take con the crypto market/fiat money market. If you wanna check it out, feel free to go by. It's written in spanish/english so everyone can give some insights. Im more of a photo person but i had the urge to write it so i went for it. :D https://read.cash/@NotAgainPls/my-take-on-crypto-and-why-bch-has-no-roof-whatsoever-09c2314a
An early start to the day, hitting the road while still dark. Hope everyone's having an amazing day and we shall see each other in the $BCH MOON πππππ
We are deep into the autumn in this part of the world and sliding slowly into winter, and you can see the trees shading accordingly. π #NaturePhotography
Holy molly. I went to the new User Rating system to lend out a hand in cleaning all the spam and bad users. Not-a-single-good-user-popped. F-O-R R-E-A-L. Since my timeline it's so small and i follow only people who im interested in, i never thought the problem was THIS BAD. Any ideas on how we as users can help to improve this?? O_O #NoiseCashSupport
Sooo... we may be having a rain problem right here. Interesting thing you see in that picture, that's a barrel that's "buried" in order to prevent cars or people to fall into the work area. Yes. The barrel is put there for a reason, people ACTUALLY falls into those holes because they don't look where they're going.
This is what we call here "Achuras". They are the kidneys, intestines and everything that's inside a cow prety much. Nothing goes to waste, we actually make a meal out of every part of the cow. :-) #Foods
We had a few rainy days on a row, so as you may imagine, you can't work with asphalt under rainy conditions. So here I am with my all time partner, the mate, doing a little bit of home office. It's amazing how much paperwork you have when you start checking everything. Mind the Netflix button on the remote controller, will not use it. (YET, when my gf arrives it's another story) π
After a few years on the net and seeing the amount of users that try to pass as women in this site, and in every other site that I know, to make a profit, I came to the realization: everything on the internet that has human interaction it's mobilized by the thirsty dudes. #ShowerThoughts
How i feel everytime I hear that Russia sent more Sputnik V to the country to keep the vaccination going #Funny
We're back into semi-lockdown in Argentina. We cannot circulate from 0 am to 6 am in order to prevent the spread of the second wave. It shows a little but still, it's gonna hit us hard. Myself, gonna keep working and being safe. Hope you all do the same. I need to earn that fiat in order to buy more crypto! Got my eyes on $BCH, $CAKE and $ADA for this week. Happy Saturday! π #MobilePhotography
I've just received my Google Maps Timeline update. It has been a busy first 3 months of the year, hopefully we'll keep that rhythm for the rest of the year. Surely i have a lot more places to visit and to drive through! Anyone has received their Timeline update? Can't believe i travelled the equivalent to 13% of around the world and NO planes involved this year. Fiu! #Travel
This beast right here was dinner with my gf last night. It is a "milanesa napolitana". It's basically beef (hammered like there's no tomorrow so it's wider and thinner); then you just put it on a mix of eggs oil and salt and pepper; and then you just put it through bread crumbs and you get the "milanesa". The "napolitana" part it's just tomato sauce, some ham and melted cheese. I bought this one tho, dinner for two for... 500 ARS orrr 5.42 USD Damn we cheap
Back to the almighty fields of the north of the province. Resuming my travelling once more! Passing by Cayasta, a well known fishermans village. Although there's like, A LOT of farmers in the area you still catch some traditional fishermans who live frugally and quite happily it seems. Stay safe everybody and have a nice week! #Travel
Are we achieving with cryptocurrency what we lost with capitalism and fiat money? There's no one to say how much something it's worth. We say how much it's worth. A lot of people is getting some form of income that helps them with their everyday expenses. Plus concepts like noise.cash it's giving it a massive boost. Since literally it rewards you for helping others. Did we... recover a little bit of humanity? π€¨π #ShowerThoughts
Good morning everybody! Starting the day in a small town away from home (Carmen, Santa Fe) , tasting new coffees and new... we call them "Medialunas" ? Lol Long day ahead, just stopping by to recheck some contract conditions and I'll be on my way to my next destination. Hope you are all having an amazing day! :) #Travel
On the move! This baby will be paved in a week. Making towns better one street at the time π
Little park bench with a little street art from the local children. Every town I visit in this area has a center plaza. That has a reason, because every town that has been built in this area has a center plaza where you have the school, town hall and local church. From there it starts expanding, but they always keep the central plaza beautiful. It's a joy to take a sit and rest there ππ
Mooorning everyone! Today I get to do office. I certainly don't have a problem with that when I get this hot and freshly made "bizcochos de grasa" -- fat made biscuits? Lol π They are just amazing with mate. Hope you all have a good start of the day! πͺπ
Countryside vibes baby all day long π·ββοΈβ
Having a lot more office work these days so everytime I can "escape" a few hours to my fishing spots I do it without a thought. Didn't catch a single fish buuuut man the water is soothing for me πβ
We keep working keep doing keep going It's an amaaaazing day today to be outside. Morning everyone! π·ββοΈβ
Just coming back home since 6 a.m. Long day of work and it's time to play with my dogs and go to sleep. Luckily the situation for me it's good but it's not for a lot of people for the rise of the second wave of COVID. Stay safe everyone. Take care of yourself and your loved ones. PS: Don't buy the Pump and Dump of $DOGE; on the other hand, hold $BCH like there's no tomorrow. It's the cash of the future! Good night! βπͺ
It's not always about covid or travel or work. Some days I take the days off to play with the boys to recharge some energy. Black (Frank); White (Felipe) ππππ
I gave away all the cryptocurrency i owned since i feel like it's something that should be circulating around. Someone, somewhere it's gonna buy something they want or need with a coin i gave away. That relaxes me and makes me think that cryptocurrency world actually WORKS. PD: I have a really nice and comfortable life and i firmly believe that everyone should be entitle to happiness and a nice decent life.
They guard. They bark. They're watching the $BCH door so it doesn't fall to the fiat money tyrants.
If a tree falls in a forest when no one's around to hear it, does it fall? I believe it does. But also, doesn't the same principle apply to pretty much everything without witnesses? π€ Edit: I'm going to bed before I start to plan illegal stuff. See ya in the morning ππ #ShowerThoughts
I saw this bug in the frame of the door this morning when I've arrived to the office. I have no idea what it is, but it looks like a majestic stick.
An image from the MET gallery, which now I use as my work laptop wallpaper. The way it's painted it's soothing and beautiful to me ππ
So.. Merlo, San Luis Province, Argentina, at around 800 km away from my home. Came with my gf to spend the weekend on this complex and look who come said hi as soon as we stepped in. A wild fox! He was so curious and cute! But he soon left to the woods. Nevertheless a great surprise visit.
Yesterday I went to prep the barbecue and forgot to upload the better pic of the fox that came to visit. He came really close to the house although as I said yesterday he sniffed around and left quickly. Probably looking for a snack, my dogs didn't see him so luckily there was no fight to break π
What you doing? Where you at? Oh you got plans, Don't say that :(
Sooo back home! And to kiss the weekend goodbye.... I'm doing this badboy. "Lechon" -- it's a young pork done this way to maximize the heat it gets from every source of heat. You just hydrate it with a mix of oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and a few more stuff. A good ol' chimichurri! It was my turn to cook for the whole family ππ
Photo taken with my gf phone. Melincue Lake, Argentina. The lack of rain made the lake lose a lot of ground, but with the low temps and probably rains coming in the next few days it should recover nicely. This is an amazing place to just do some trekking or of course.... do some fishing! π£
Another picture of Melincue Lake, Argentina. What you see here it's one of the man-made canals to drain the in other times, flooded lake. Now, it's struggling to keep its level but a few months ago this canal was totally flooded. Had a lot of carp and catfish around. Now you don't see that much fish anymore
Im so sorry to the guy that got my whole cryptocurrency wallet because i gave it away in the bull run and the guy had to bite the DIP like 10 hours after he got the wallet LMAO. Welcome to the crypto world i guess xD
Another picture of the Melincue Lake. It felt weird to see all the algae in the dirt road. Ps: I have absolutely no doubt my gf takes better pictures than me. Hands down.
So it begins a new beautiful sunny day. Today it's home office day so I get to work with my dogs by my side. Maybe I'll make them do some paperwork. π have a nice day everyone!
Im sorry. I had to. Im Lol'ing like crazy #ShitpostsOfNoise
This is Santa Isabel, Santa Fe. A small, like, really small town. It holds at max around 1000 people. A town mostly made of land owners and the rest people that works in said farmlands. This is quite a good spot for fishing, but no Pejerrey around yet. I need to wait for the first really icy day of the winter to try the hunt again. Still 10/10 place to visit. ππ
Someone it's getting a free ride to work today! PS: 25 km and he got safely. Amazingly π€π
Another pic of our trip to Melincue Lake. I have no clue what kind of flowers these are, but the angle and the horizon made it a perfect frame. 10/10 ππͺ
Soooo.... google.com.ar (Argentina domain) its down. Interesting part about it, it's that the domain has been transferred to a third party Argentinian guy that has nothing to do with Google π My prediction: In about two hours Google's gonna have their domain back and one less employee. π
This is a newly discovered pond near my farm!!! I'm super excited about it! It's in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina but I have never been here before. Came with two local men that told me about it. It's a really good spot for silver arrows(pejerrey-flecha de plata) and it's not well known so it's calm. I'm looking right at new adventures in the eye! (Yes, I should be working atm but what you gonna do ππ)
Today i have to stay late at the office. Today I have a lot of work to do. Today I wish I was Felipe, the guy right here in the pic. π€π·ββοΈ #Dogs
Oh yes! Tonight im doing some grilled meat with this bad boy as a seasoning. This is what we call here in Argentina, a "salsa criolla"; it's basically made of: 2 sweet peppers 6 sliced tomatoes 2 onions 1 cup of oil (it can be olive but I use what's normal here; sunflower oil) Salt and pepper 1 cup of alcohol vinegar You process everything, mix it and it's a raw sauce so no cooking involved. And you enjoy the spectacular flavour. ππβ PS: That's my gf hand tasting it before Iβ¦
It amazes me that he just sits there. He has a cable in his head. Don't care Light directly in his eyes. Don't care Frank lives how he wants π€¨π #Dogs
Today it's another office day. I do not like when I have to sit down to actually fulfill the roll I'm being paid for. π¬π€¬ Oh wait. That sounded better in my head. Oh well. ππππ
So it begins the rainy day. I would sell my soul for some "Tortas fritas" Btw if you're not argentinian you should google and try to replicate those bad boys. They are the best of the best. Hands down
The big boys are locked up on rainy days. I may ask the employees to wash them so they're clean for Monday. A lo of work to do next week, by now, it's time to chill and enjoy the weekend! π
I will never lose my inner child. NEVER. Today it was raining, couldn't find any Torta frita so I bought gummies. A ton. A ton of gummies. For me. It was a good day.
Saturday cloudy morning! I decided I will not work today, but seems like everyone is still sleeping in my town ππ Gotta take advantage of this free day the only way I know. Gonna buy some coffee and breakfast!
RΓo ParanΓ‘, Rosario Argentina. Rosario has one of the biggest commercial ports of the country. As you may know, Argentina sustain its economy mostly by exporting commodities. Soy beans mostly, so this port it's of huge importance for the economy! Here it's a picture I took myself while going by the road on the side of the river. You can always get amazing views ππ
As you can imagine, If there's water and I'm passing by... there's not doubt I'll be stopping for a few hours to fish after enjoying the view ππ #Fishing
A few days without fishing and I start to get anxious π
Today we had a blast in the park. When the sun hits him he looks majestic af And when he starts to run it's like super fast af even tho he's like 20 cm tall ππ
It's a walk in the park Just enjoying the sun The little things in life are the most beautiful ones ππ
Taking advantage of the nice warm weather we started the week full speed! π·ββοΈπ·ββοΈπππ
Finally at home after a long day of work. When I was leaving from a shop today I saw this "little" buddy. Little nothing since he was HUGE. I assume he's around eating all the mosquitoes and flies the summer time brings. He should eat a lot since we're slowly transitioning into autumn. ππ
This right here it's how i know that i should not fish in this spot. People doesn't take care of the enviroment and leaves the trash laying right there. Which would take years and years to decompose. So i never stop on these spots as a matter of principle! Good morning everyone :)
Life above the machinery Looking good and almost done! ππ·ββοΈπ PS: Not my job driving the asphalt compactor but I'm pretty good at it π
Smooth as a babies butt. Road finished, to the next one we go! ππ·ββοΈπ
The good ol' little creek behind my office. (Literally behind my office) It started as a channel to avoid flooding in town, but it became a nice fishing spot. As always, nature just grows adapt and overcome any situation. I've caught quite a few species in here. I usually spend an hour or two every few days when work it's slow ππ
So my barbecue plans diverted into this beautiful dish. Meat, potatoes, a little bit of spices and a red sauce. Spicy btw. It was super good. π
Gooood morning people! It's another beautiful day to work π·ββοΈβ Gonna move the materials around to start off the asphalt production!! Great day ahead!! Hope you're all starting or finishing your day well!! πββοΈπ
This is an old picture of "El barrancoso" river. It's located between two states(provinces), which are Santa Fe & Entre Rios. The union of these province was made possible by a huge hanging bridge that allowed people from Rosario and the south go to Entre Rios without having to go to the Capitol to cross. Huge improvement for the traffic between states. And of course I take advantage of the important part. I go fish in the canals along the bridge ππ
By basic principle if I give myself four wheels and I carry around a gigantic box in my back I can be called a cargo truck. π€¨π€ #ShowerThoughts
End of the day, finally at home! Time to red lager and chill. Hope you all had a really nice Wednesday! βπ
So i came to the farm to watch how's everything going. I don't come down here that much on cold weather since I pretty much FREEZE and the mosquitoes destroy me. But anyway, This is one of the youngest palm trees we have. It's rapidly growing and if we're lucky he will grow as tall as his 40 meters brother. It's a beautiful morning to be drinking mate and walking by the farm lands πππͺ
This is a picture i took earlier this morning. It's by the national route that connects several states. The amount of trucks you see go by, since we're in soy harvest season it's unbelievable! They load themselves in the farm and then they're on route to the commercial port. Over and over again until the harvest stops!
Today it's Animals Day here in Argentina! It's the day we celebrate our beloved pets, companions and every animal we come across. Here's a picture of the star of my house! Felipe ππ #Dogs
Somedays I do be starting earlier than the sun itself. 5.30 am, no time for sleeping. We got a lot of work to do today!! βπ·ββοΈ Last day of the week people! Let's do this!!
Ending the Friday high high up!! We finish this road, and we're done for the week! Tomorrow's worker day here in Argentina so we're all going home to chill and relax. βπ·ββοΈπ
Back in town and of course it's time to go to the park and chill out. Didn't take my work clothes off yet. Needed to take Felipe on a trip and relax in the local park. Hope you're all ending your week very good! ππβ
