Some *lifestyle* changes ..

Monday ..
Hello friends and readers . Hope so you are going well.
Lately I've been a bit heavier than I'd like to be, I especially noticed this from photos of the traveling we did recently and it bugged me so often that I decided it'd be a good time to change things. I'm not someone to usually care about my health too much and really like postponing things or ignoring things but I guess it's gotten to the point where it can no longer be ignored.
Ever since we got back I've stopped drinking soda's and other sugary things aside from one or two coffee's per day which I can't drink without some milk and sugar.
Even though it hasn't been many days of this no-soda diet I can already feel a bit better and clear-headed. I plan on keeping this up as I remember my metabolism wasn't bad in the past, I didn't really have to think about my weight much as it never really got that high. Then again I also used to workout/do sports here and there and with age who knows what's up with my metabolism now, but I reckon that with this diet alone I'm most likely going to start losing some weight.
That said I'm not planning on just doing this diet, else it would've probably been a much shorter post that could've fit better in Threads. The plan is to also start exercising every day starting with some walks and moving on to some faster walks and possibly also jogging once I hit my weight goal. The reason jogging is out of the question currently is cause I've always also had this thing with my shins and at my current weight of 70--80 .I know they're going to not last long. The walking more often and for longer will definitely help get them warmed up, though, which then could allow me to start running again. This goal is quite far out so I'm mostly just thinking ahead at this point.
The only thing I got at my disposal at the moment is a place to walk and two dumbbells at around 15kg or so (I think, it's been so long I've touched them and for so little time I'd have to check again). This does give me quite a few options, though, and if things go according to plan I might get some more minimal equipment to work out at home. The idea would be to do some exercise at first to get warmed up such as walking (and I'm definitely going to get warmed up in the asian climate) to then finish things off with some body workout and weights. which is amazing to see).
While I really lack dedication compared to others, I'm thinking that posting about my progress, thoughts and possible feelings throughout it might help push me to at least do something compared to nothing. While I'm not going to provide you with any progress pictures I may muster up the courage to post some before and after pics if things go well though right now I wouldn't sit on the edge of my seat about them if I was you. :P
Another reason to exercise more is also that I remember it really helped me to clear my head and think of things from different angles in the past. I'm hoping that with all the projects and plans I have coming up for readcash this will help me out to think about things and plan ahead better when taking breaks off the screen.
I've got a good start towards my goals this time around, for the majority of the time during my recent travels sure helped me drop down a few kilos from all the walking and exploring.
Anyway, wish me luck! I'll try to post about it now and then and try to also not lie to myself and everyone about how it's actually going. xD
