Bangladesh of change of days

Bangladesh is an independent and sovereign country on the world map. Bangladesh has emerged through the path of various bloody movements and struggles. For almost two hundred years, various struggles and movements have been going on against the British and Pakistani rule and exploitation for twenty four years. Finally, after a long and bloody armed struggle of nine months, Bangladesh has risen to the top of the world. Bangladesh did not stop even after long rule and exploitation. The four decades of independence have continued unabated. Has achieved various goals, has created surprises. Not just economic development, it is going to be self-reliant. Dreaming of a change of days, a prosperous democratic Bangladesh.

Day-to-day Bangladesh: Every decade of Bangladesh's four decades of independence, apart from economic development, in some respects, it has stunned the world with its intelligence, creativity and innovative energy. Bangladesh has become a model in the world for environmental protection, women's empowerment, non-profit development initiatives especially microfinance projects. Not only that, Bangladesh is competing with South Asian countries in medical, food security and exports. There has been a huge improvement in the field of education. The literacy rate is over 75%. The rate of population growth is decreasing day by day. If this continues, researchers believe that Bangladesh will achieve the Millennium Development Goals.

Food Security and Foreign Debt: The development of a country largely depends on its food security, exports and foreign borrowing ratio. At present, Bangladesh has achieved self-sufficiency in rice production including food grains. Reliance on foreign debt has been declining in recent years. In 2010-11, the amount of foreign loans and grants received was ২১ 2126 million. In the 2012-13 fiscal year, it was ৮ 1,600 million. Foreign debt subsidies now fall below 2 percent in proportion to GDP. Export earnings exceeded ৭ 26 billion in 2012-13. Foreign exchange reserves exceeded ৪ 19.4 billion in February 2014.

Day shift in agriculture: Bangladesh has come a long way in agriculture. It could not have been imagined even 15 years ago. In the field of agriculture, the reliance on the scientific method is increasing instead of the traditional method. Seeds of improved varieties are being produced through gene technology. In particular, hybrid crop cultivation and modern irrigation projects have increased crop production. The government is subsidizing the development of agriculture. Diversified farming, especially vegetable production, has increased unimaginably. Bangladesh today is self-sufficient in agriculture. Agricultural products are being exported. Above all, as a result of modernization of agriculture, Bangladesh has achieved food self-sufficiency.

Changes in the field of education: There has been a huge change in the field of education. The touch of modernization in the field of education has put Bangladesh far ahead of the developing countries of the third world. In order to modernize education, primary education has been upgraded to eighth grade. Stipends and meals have been introduced to encourage women's education and primary education. With the emphasis on women's education in the country, arrangements have been made for salary waiver and stipend for girls up to class XII. At present the literacy rate has risen to about 80%. After independence this rate was 20%. At present, there are about 90,000 primary schools in the country, including government primary schools. There are about 19,000 secondary schools, about 3,500 colleges, about 9,500 madrasas and about 195 polytechnic institutes. [Source - Bangladesh Education Statistics 2011]

Industry and Economy: The day has changed in the field of industry and economy of Bangladesh. At the time of independence, the contribution of the industrial sector to the GDP was about 6 percent. At present it stands at 31.91 percent (2012-13). Especially in the garment industry, leather industry, frozen food and fish industry, jute and jute products, etc., Bangladesh has gained a wide reputation. The country's export income is increasing day by day. At present, the export growth rate is more than 16.5 percent. In 1972-73, the per capita income of Bangladesh was 60 US dollars. In the 2012-13 financial year, it was 923 US dollars, now it has exceeded 1044 (2014 current). In the same financial year, the total GDP was 6,012 crore but now it has exceeded 4 lakh 34 thousand crore [Economic Survey 2013]. In the financial year 2013-14, the total export income was two thousand 224 crore 26 lakh dollars. Which is 13 percent more than last year. 61% of the total export income came from the garment sector.

Changes in the field of science and health: Bangladesh has made great strides in the field of science and health since independence. Science education has been given enough importance in the country. Education is being made science oriented. Bangladesh has also gained a reputation in the field of science and health. Bangladesh today has a proud reputation for discovering jute genes, buffalo genes, various electronic products and especially in the pharmaceutical industry. Bangladesh's progress in achieving the Millennium Development Goals in various fields, including health and nutrition, has already attracted the attention of the international community.

Rule of Law and Women's Empowerment: Bangladesh has made tremendous progress in establishing fundamental rights, accountability and transparency of the government, justice and law and order, fair democracy and the rule of law. Bangladesh is now dreaming of becoming a developed democracy. Bangladesh has created a glorious history in women's empowerment. There are 20 percent women representatives in the parliament of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is 64th out of 147 countries in the world in terms of women's representation in Parliament. In this way, Bangladesh is moving forward in the spirit of change of days.

Government initiative instead of day: How many steps has the government taken to build our beloved motherland Bangladesh in the spirit of liberation war and with the promise of independence. Forgetting all the failures of the past, leaving behind the conflicting politics, the present government is firmly committed to build a beautiful and prosperous golden Bengal free from the curse of hunger-poverty-illiteracy, corruption and terrorism. In this belief, the present government has set some targets as per Vision 2021.For example, to make Bangladesh a 'digital Bangladesh' by 2021, to make Bangladesh a middle-income country, to eradicate illiteracy, to ensure education for all and to provide electricity to every household. It has also taken steps to prevent infant mortality, empower women and raise the average life expectancy to 60 by 2021. Moreover, the government will eradicate poverty, prevent corruption, strengthen good governance and local government, develop the power and energy sector, improve the quality of education, expand industry and trade, ensure free media freedom, strengthen defense, cultural, social and economicIt is working for development and initiative and for the expansion of women's education and establishment of equal rightsSuccesses, Problems and Prospects in the Change of Days: Bangladesh as a developing country of the third world is facing various challenges to meet the challenges of the new century. Overcoming these problems, Bangladesh has succeeded in many fields. However, despite so many things, the unemployment problem in the country is increasing day by day. A group of selfish people is practicing the politics of corruption and conflict. Economic weakness due to corruption and mismanagement, deterioration of law and order in social life, anarchy in the world of education and self-interest in the name of social service and the practice of arbitrariness are going on. This culture is misleading the youth. At present the challenge is to solve these problems. Bangladesh is a non-communal country and the Bengali nation is a nation of heroes. No obstacle is an obstacle for them. So despite the problems, we dream of a happy and prosperous Bangladesh.

What we need to do to change the day: The world is changing. With this, the people of the world and their dreams are changing. We also need to keep pace with this change. Forgetting all kinds of discrimination, violence and narrowness, everyone should come forward to build the country selflessly. 32 crore hands of 16 crore people of the country. This hand needs to be trained and put to use. For this we need honest, competent and efficient leadership and good governance. Only then will happiness and prosperity come to the society. The day will change the society, the people, Bangladesh.

The standard of living and socio-economic development of independent Bangladesh has not stopped in one place due to the change of days. The country of infinite potential is slowly moving towards development. This possibility has not been used properly so far. If Bangladesh's economy was exploited in a planned way, Bangladesh might have gone further. The days would have changed long ago. Therefore, in an effort to change the day, everyone must come forward to build a developed and modern democratic and prosperous Bangladesh in the future
