302 returnees were kept at the quarantine center at Diabari under Turag police station. In the wake of the allegations, the police sought their arrest in the GD (General Diary) case and remanded them in custody. The court accepted the application and ordered to send them to jail. They are currently in jail.
Relatives of the detainees say the government has sentenced them to prison for their involvement in criminal activities. On July 4, the court sent 219 returning Bangladeshis to jail. Of them, 141 returned to Kuwait, 39 to Qatar and 39 to Bahrain. On September 1, the court sent 63 more Bangladeshis back to jail. Of them, 61 are from Vietnam and two are from Qatar. Two GDs against those sent to jail are currently under investigation. Turag police are investigating the GD.
The last date for filing reports against 219 Bangladeshis returning abroad was on September 3. On the same day, investigating officer Turag police inspector Mohammad Safiullah applied to the court for 30 days without submitting the report. The court granted it and set a new date of September 20 for the submission of the report.
During the investigation, the petitioner said, "219 foreign returnees have been handed over to the court on July 4. Of the 219 extradited, 141 Bangladeshi expatriates from Kuwait, 39 from Qatar and 39 expatriate Bangladeshis from Bahrain were found to be in prisons in the countries mentioned for their involvement in various criminal activities. In the interest of proper investigation, separate search slips have been sent to the concerned police stations for verification of names, addresses, PCs, PRs, past activities, past history, etc. of all the accused. But so far no report has been received regarding the verification of names and addresses of all the accused. Besides, 13 detainees were interrogated at the Central Jail and Kashimpur Jail at the direction of the court and some important information was obtained from them which was helpful in the investigation. Therefore, it was not possible to complete the investigation into the diary allegation, so an additional 30 working days is required for a proper investigation.

After going there, the government of that country sentenced him to 18 years in prison. He was pardoned in Corona and sent back to the country. After returning to the country, he was sent back to jail. The court is not granting him bail. He went abroad for the sake of economic development of the country. We want her released quickly.
Kabir Hossain's brother-in-law Al-Amin said, "My brother-in-law went to Kuwait with many dreams." The government of that country punished him. After his sentence was commuted in Corona, he was sent back to jail. Now the court is not granting him bail.

Defendant's lawyer Jayant Shah said they had gone abroad for the country. The government of that country pardoned them and sent them to Bangladesh. But the court is not granting bail. We are seeking bail for the accused.
Lawyer Imrul Hossain said he was seeking bail from the court. But the court is not granting bail. Bail is their human right.
Hemayet Uddin Khan Hiron, Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate's Court, said, "The government of that country sentenced them to different terms for their involvement in criminal activities while they were abroad."
