The Ministry of Industry has taken initiative to determine the new motorcycle registration fee. In order to attract foreign investment in the motorcycle industry, initiatives to determine this fee in accordance with the neighboring countries in Asia to attract foreign investment. The proposal will be sent to the concerned ministries and organizations very soon from the Ministry of Industry for consideration in terms of reality. Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun said this in the virtual meeting with senior officials of Bangladesh Honda Private Limited on Tuesday. In the meeting, Bangladesh Honda Private Limited is highlighting the possibility of motorcycle industry and sustainable development of this industry in the country. Some recommendations are highlighted by the organization to utilize the possibility of a rising motorcycle industry by the passage of existing obstacles. In the meantime, to determine the logical registration fee of motorcycles, to attract customs and taxes in order to attract foreign investment, to determine the durable rules of taxation, the National Board of Revenue issued for the convenience of the National Revenue 155, Backward Links, Backward Links Industries Minister said, the demand for motorcycle throughout the village city is also increasing. Regarding determining the motorcycle registration fee, the minister said that the Ministry of Industry has already formulated Motorcycle Industry Development Policy-2018. Under this, the work of determining the registration fee keeping the registration fee in accordance with other countries of the subcontinent. He expressed hope that it will be resolved quickly. He said that the work of creating a backward link industry roadmap in effective development of motorcycle industry in the country.
