Yesterday I went to the market and saw fresh and tasty radish. I couldn't resist. I adore eating it and spring is the best part of the year to eat fresh radish or to make salad with mixed vegetables including radish. You cannot believe how healthy this vegetable is.

Radishes are rich with vitamin C, folic acid,and contain very few calories, which is why they are an excellent food for spring cleansing of the body. So tasty and fresh they are great choice for lunch. When buying radishes, make sure they are firm and red. If they are firm, it is a sure sign that they have just been picked, and if they are soft, it is very likely that they are hollow and bitter. After buying, remove the green leaves because if you leave it, it can cause the creation of moisture that destroys nutrients. Store radishes in the refrigerator for a maximum of five to seven days.
