Once a year, my husband and I always see to it that we visit a place we have never been to. And this year, ever though we are currently experiencing this Covid-19 pandemic, we have managed to travel to a nearby island to visit what is known as "the sunken cemetery".
The sunken cemetery is located in Camiguin Island. It is very popular because it considered as a tourist destination. With that being said, lots and lots of tourists visit Camuigin year after year. And the sunken cemetery is among the places frequented by most tourists.
Many years ago, that particular cemetery was just like the other ones. It was not sunken at all. However, since it was located on a lower ground, it was easily flooded by seawater when a volcano near the place erupted. The whole village, including the cemetery were all flooded by seawater. Hence, it was then called "the sunken cemetery".
Well at least you have visited somewhere. Maybe nextime you can attach some of the pictures taken when you visited the place
