Ephesians 2:8-9
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."
The most debated verses in the bible as a lot of people would say Faith its not enough to go to heaven and its very clear what the bible says that we are saved by grace through faith and its a free gift from God and our works would not save us. People always use the phrase Faith without good works is dead .. yeah that is true, but is that mean I believed faith + works to get salvation ? Nah.. we are saved through faith by repenting and trusting the gospel means the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as what the scripture says in 1 Cor 15: 1-4 & Romans 10: 9... once we have faith in Christ we are saved and become a child of God and no longer children of darkness but child of lightness. After salvation God predestined us to live holy and blameless like his son Jesus Christ. Faith should comes from our heart not mind in order for us to be a real born again christian. Accepting Christ as our savior, redeemer and the Lord of our life it comes with a big responsibility and Christian believers should live a life holy and fully pleasing to God.
