The "if" is known as a conjunction, as a preposition, ..., but today it is seen as the enemy of human consciousness.
If I had talked to her ...
If I had studied ...
If I had followed my dream ...
If, if, if, ...
Two letters that disturb anyone's conscience.
The "if" enemy of human conscience is driven by fear, uncertainty, insecurity. Fear is psychological, but suffering is real.
That fear does not overcome our dreams and desires, and that the "if" is just a conjunction or preposition in our lives.
The "if" can be the enemy of conscience
But hope is the greatest ally in our experience.

Yes true. Best is to let go and not be attached into the mind construct.
