Getting hired is a real struggle especially if you don't know someone inside the company where you applied for a job.
No matter how qualified you are, how 'almost perfect' you seemed to be for that certain job, there's still a possibility for you to not be chosen for that reason.
I've been there. I experienced it myself that's why I have this audacity to bring out this topic. ๐
But...
It has been long instilled in me to never ever take a job through anybody's reference.
Even before I finished my degree I promised myself that I will land a job through my capabilities and not just because someone helped me.
Pride? Could be. But that's me.

While inside the minibus going home, I had a chitchat with a schoolfellow โ a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management graduate (six years ago), had worked in a private and government office, put up her own small business (didn't ask further about its status during our conversation) and now, went back to schooling.
I asked her, why so? Why stopped working and go back to schooling when you're already earning for a living?
Her response was because... she's not yet fulfilled. She may have earned a good amount of money while working in different offices, with various people of distinct age and attitude but it seems to her that she's not for it, her heart wasn't really for the workplace that's why she came to a decision to resign.
She enrolled herself again for the reason that she's going to use the whole academic year not just for school-related stuffs but to think of what she really wants in life. ๐งฉ

This line has always been a gentle reminder to myself when something in life gets tough.
Because no matter how unpleasant a situation is, I believe, it will eventually pass.

Got my first ever 20-peso coin (largest denomination coin of the Philippine peso) from a friend who works in another company. He asked me if I want the coin as he was willing to let me have it in exchange of another 20 pesos, of course.
He told me, he and his wife is collecting new coins and they already have 35 of this.

It's about time to uninstall this Cloud Earning PHT app.

Just like other college students, I also had a crush inside the campus.
He was an Engineering student and we happened to be classmates on one subject when we were both in first year.

I was a freshman when I first cried in front of the whole class. The reason? Being paired/partnered to a male classmate.
One day, a male classmate of mine who was seated on my right forgot to bring his book, that's why our English teacher (also a guy) decided to let him share with me. My classmate comfortably settled his chair beside me so he could follow to what our teacher was about to discuss.
But before our teacher could even begin with the discussion, he first told the class that we (me and my male classmate who was seated beside me) could make a good couple (couple! as in) and he was like promoting it to the class.
