The perfect MINI AMERICAN DONUTS are a real treat that is made quickly, and the youngest ones are most happy about it precisely because of the way they decorate, because the possibilities are limitless.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons sugar
1 vanilla sugar
2 eggs
330g flour (16 tablespoons)
1 baking powder
1 cup yogurt
80ml oil
Optional decoration (optional)
200g melting chocolate
1 bag of chocolate crumbs or coconut or powdered sugar.
STEP 1
Whisk the eggs briefly, the sugar and vanilla sugar do not have to form a foam, it is enough just to combine the sugar with the eggs. Add other ingredients to the beaten eggs and sugar: flour, baking powder, yogurt, oil. Stir everything together well to make the mass smooth.
STEP 2
Depending on the appliance you are using, fill the recesses on the donut machine if you are using a COLOSSUS donut machine, one teaspoon of the mixture in each hole is sufficient.
STEP 3
After you have baked all the donuts you can eat them without any additional filling or just sprinkle powdered sugar on them. If you want to decorate them additionally, I usually melt the steamed chocolate and dip each donut in half, then sprinkle various chocolate crumbs or coconut on it. I put a cube of chocolate or a biscuit over all that.
Tip: About 50 donuts fall out of this mixture, if you want more or less just halve or double the mixture.
