Islam is the religion of nature and the religion of humanity. It has given Muslims a system of society in which the rights and duties of human life and individuals of all classes have been defined. Especially with regard to the rights and duties of husband and wife. Islamic teachings are very clear. In Islam, the relationship between husband and wife regarding rights and duties and the basis of this relationship is very enduring.

For this, responsibilities have been assigned to both men and women and rights and duties of both have been assigned to each other, which strengthens the foundation of the family and creates an atmosphere of peace and tranquility in the society. It is commanded in Surah An-Nisa ': Have a good time with them. ” (Translation of the Spirit of the Qur'an, Volume II) After stating the rules for women, the Qur'an again commands husbands to treat their wives kindly, to fulfill the rights of women over you, and to empower themselves. Do not abuse them knowingly against the Shari'ah. ”(Tafsir Ruh-ul-Quran)“ That is, speak kindly about them, do good deeds and your appearance (character and behavior), as you would with them. You want to do it for yourself, in the same way you do with them (the matter of attitude and kindness). (Tafsir Ibn Katheer Volume 1 Page 466)

Here, Allah Almighty has commanded the husbands to live with their wives in a good manner, that is, in a well-known way, and "well-known" means that their rights should be paid in full, such as dowry, alimony and turn, if If there are many wives, it is necessary to take turns between them, as well as to end their suffering by giving up slander, as well as to give up indifference and inclination towards others, etc., as well as to blow one's nose and cry. To appear before him, when he has no guilt and other similar things that come up in these cases. ”(Ahkam-ul-Quran for Judges Volume 2 Page 109)

Therefore, Allah Almighty has commanded husbands to treat their wives kindly. This is a guarantee of the best and happiest life for the human soul. (Tafsir Qurtubi Volume 5 Page 97) The Holy Prophet said: "Accept my advice of goodness about your wives". (Muslim Sharh Al-Nawawi Volume 10 Page 58)

Hazrat Abu Hurayrah says that Hazrat Akram said: "The most perfect believer among you is the one who is the best in morals and the best among you is the one who is the best for his wives." (Tirmidhi Volume 1 Page 349)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The best of you is the one who is best for his wife and children and I am the best for my family. And when your spouse dies, pray for him.” (Mushkoot Sharif page 282, Ibn Majah page 636)

Referring to the rights of the wife, the Holy Prophet said: "Feed them whatever you eat, clothe them as you clothe them, clothe them as you clothe them, do not beat them and do not speak ill of them." (Abu Dawud, Kitab al-Nikah, Bab al-Haq al-Marah, Volume 1, Page 291

The Holy Prophet (sws) said: "Man can attain the status of good morals which is attained by fasting all day and worshiping all night." (Sunan Abu Dawood, Kitab al-Adab, Bab fi Hasan al-Khalq vol. 2 p. 661)

In the Qur'an, it is commanded: “And treat them with kindness.” Treat women with kindness. (Surat an-Nisa ': 5) Therefore, the husband has been instructed to treat his wife with kindness and generosity. The Holy Prophet (saw) said: “The best of you are those who are kind to their wives. They are good and treat their family with kindness and kindness. (Mushkoot, Kitab al-Nikah)
