A few years ago this newly discovered #planet_J1407b was spotted by a Dutch astronomer. The ranges of the planet Saturn in our solar system are nothing compared to it. The planet J1407b has a total of 37 ranges and the total resolution of these ranges is spread over a diameter of 55 million km. Remember that our sun is about 92 million miles from the earth. This distance is about 150 million kilometers.
Scientists say that these ranges are very different from the ranges seen before, but we have never seen such ranges before, nor such a unique large planet.
The planet itself is so large in size that if Jupiter could accommodate 1,300 Earths, it would be ten to 40 times larger than that. Scientists have previously confirmed that this is indeed a planet or a star. The planet is about 433 light-years from Earth
The ring system was first discovered in 2012 by Eric Mamajek, a Dutch physics and astronomy professor, and the photos were taken by an astronomical artist of the planet.
