We spent two happy seasons in Calangute. Our friend rented a two-room apartment on the 3rd floor in a clean and cozy house, he lived in one room himself, and rented the second to friends. The house was beautiful, its main feature was that our apartment was surrounded by a huge balcony on the entire floor. In the evenings, we liked to sit on the balcony with a bottle of beer or a joint, philosophize, discuss the events of the passing day and plan new adventures, share different stories from life, observe the local vibrant life.

I cant see the picture, but i could visualize your story, i feel it hahaha
Yes, sis, I saw that people from the Philippines can't see images, it's very sad😟 let everything get better soon! Thank you for stopping by! 🙂🌺
Gut gut Calangute! I also live in Calangute three seasons.
Calangut, it's true, is gut! 😊👍
Sounds like your friend is enjoying a good life.
Yes, it was so, we all enjoyed the good days before covid. Now we are learning to enjoy what we have😊
Though I couldn't see the picture, I mostly rely on your description of the place and start imagining. I remember when me and my friends use to hang out a lot back in the days before this covid started. And we had so many plans but it all ends up being cancelled one after the other.
Yes, it's all very sad. It is difficult to accept that we have been deprived of the joy of traveling and live communication with people around the world. And how stupid it is that people are so intimidated by this covid that they are faced with a choice - either get vaccinated and travel or stay at home. In fact, this is the beginning of discrimination and the division of society into layers.
It is very sad though I wouldn't think of it as a deprivation to be able to travel again. After all we have a choice now, to be vaccinated and go to places you wanna go or stay at home and spend more time with your family. I would choose the latter always.
You're right, but we are family of travelers😊
Oh that great, your family must have been to a lot of countries by now. The only setback is this pandemic getting in the way right? What was your next supposed destination? If this pandemic never happened
Not so much really. I have only been to India, but several times, I want to return to it and explore further😊 Also France and Spain. Every country is beautiful in its own way, but India is like love😊 if the pandemic had not prevented, then I would be there now.
I think India is already diverse in culture right? I hope everything will get better soon so you could be able to visit there once again.
I think this can be said about the state of Goa. Thank you for your kind words, I hope so too🙏
Woah that's nice, I only say that because of the movie "Life of Pi". Because it was discussed that Islam isn't the only religion present in India. We should all pray that the world will get better soon.
I agree with you, we should all pray🙏
After all, prayer is very powerful. And we can only rely on prayer now that everything seems like a blur in search for a near future where this pandemic just vanishes.
Yes, we need to pray and purify our souls, find the beauty and share it. If every person prays and make the life better and if he can make another person happy, the world will become better.. 🙏
Yep, if only every person would be willing to pray for a better future. Perhaps that future would be reachable.
