Well most Scientist would have know about blackhole and how it violate most know laws of physics, a famous Scientist once said that, blackhole is a region where God divide the universe by Zero.

Well just has the mystery of blackholes still remain unsolved by today physicist. Blackhole has also lead Scientist to ask questions about what happens inside a blackhole. Since blackhole is a region where the gravitational field is so strong that nothing can escape it, not even light which is the Cosmic speed limit can escape from it.

One other famous problem of blackholes is the blackhole information paradox.

What is blackhole information paradox

Blackhole information paradox is a paradox that has arises due the conflicting notion of both general relativity and Quantum Mechanics. We all know the saying that matter cannot be created nor destroyed but can be transferred from one form to another. That is all the matters and energy that we have today in the universe is the same as it was in the early universe. These same thing also applies to Information. Information cannot be created or destroyed but it can be transformed from one form to another.

But according to the physics of general relativity,If a body ( let says a book falls inside in a blackhole) the information about the book will be destroyed but what we will have left is just the spin, mass and charge. These is one of the famous no-hair theorem of blackholes.

Well but according to quantum mechanics, information cannot be destroyed or created. The information about the book falling into the blackhole cannot be destroyed. These two statements contradicting each other is what lead to the famous paradox. Which has dominated the world of science for years and still one of the unsolved problem In physics.

Further explanation on what blackhole information means.

The universe as we know looking at it from another point of view, the information in the universe is accurate in that is allow the existence of molecular machines. Information is an important expect of the universe. Information is an important aspect of physics. For example if I should burn a wood, the information about the wood was not destroyed, it was only transformed into ashed, if I can know the velocity and other parameters of the information that was lost, I could create the wood back. These is what classical laws of physics has always spoken about.

But according to general relativity of blackholes, if a wood should fall inside in a blackhole, what I would have is just a mass, charge and spin, the information about the book has been destroyed or lost forever, and we can't get the book back. These simple problem violates what we know about physics and these is another big issue that occurs when you try to merge general relativity and Quantum Mechanics together.

Well with time Scientist might have answers to these questions as time goes on!!
