In defense of Roswell, New Mexico, one of America's most popular UFO conspiracy theories was been debunked by the Federal Bureau of Investigation years ago. In an article published on their website entitled "FBI Records: The Vault," a series of declassified documents outline how in 1947 a local newspaper falsely reported that a flying disk had crashed into a nearby ranch and was recovered by the military with four human-like bodies inside.
This sparked national attention and soon after reports came flooding in from people claiming to have seen aliens or alien ships. According to government officials however, this is simply not true as they claim it is merely an elaborate hoax created by those seeking notoriety or some sort of fame out of such claims.
While many skeptics will likely take this information as fact without a second thought, many UFO supporters will likely be angered by this revelation as they see it as a cover-up of alien life and the United States' close relationship with extraterrestrials.
In response to this news going public, Stephen Basset who has been an advocate for the government disclosing information about UFOs to the general public took to PR Newswire .
In his statement he argues that "the American people have been misled for over fifty years by those in positions of power who have sworn to protect constitutional rights and then violated those principles for reasons of national security.
"
He continues on to say that information regarding the existence of aliens should not only be disclosed but also declassified so that more can understand what is really happening behind closed doors. Basset is not alone in this belief as many others feel that there are untold secrets about the United States' involvement with extraterrestrial life.
There are many theories as to why the government would be covering up such information. One suggests that the government does not want for people's religious beliefs to come under attack if they discover of intelligent life on other planets.
Another criticizes the government of only revealing what is good for them and keeping large amounts of information from public knowledge in order to avoid creating a panic.
Despite the many theories, it is impossible to say for certain why there has been such a cover-up since no one knows with absolute certainty that alien life exists in the first place. That being said, with more and more people coming out against the government's lack of transparency about these subjects, hopefully in time we can move towards the truth.
However, given the fact that any information regarding UFOs or aliens is still considered a national security threat, it seems unlikely that the public will be able to know more anytime soon.
Whether you believe Basset's claims of a cover-up or simply consider this all to be an elaborate hoax created by civilians for attention, one thing remains certain. The mystery surrounding Roswell and other UFO sightings around the world continues to spark interest even today after so many claims have been made to authorities.
As long as these stories continue to circulate there will always be those who seek answers and those willing to provide them no matter how outlandish they may seem.
Many researchers talk about the existence of an alien base on the dark side of the moon. Yes, I am interested in this subject. Some researchers talk about the existence of a galactic council. The rulers of this galactic council are made up of angels. Of course, this is a group of angels who obey Allah. This galactic council also fights against evil beings trying to harm humans. It is claimed that beings who wanted to harm people were once members of this assembly, but they wanted to harm people by going against Allah's order. It's actually very detailed. I explained briefly. Do not infer from what I have said that all aliens are angels. I did not mean it. There are thought to be many different types of aliens. And believe me, all this is far from a complete theory. Because researchers have interesting evidence.
