The disease is called hypertrichosis or Wire Wolf syndrome. It is mainly a hormonal disorder.

As a result, hair grows abnormally on the body. Strangely, this disease can also be hereditary. Anyone, boy or girl, can get this disease. Hair starts to grow in different parts of the body of the infected person, hair does not grow in those places normally. Many people may be born with this problem and in many cases this problem may occur in adulthood. The body of the infected patient gradually becomes much like a wolf or a wire wolf. In ancient times, many fictional interpretations may have begun with such a person.

A report published in AFP in 2015 mentions a person suffering from Wire Wolf Syndrome.

Jesus Archives of Mexico City. And his life is not like ten ordinary people. When you go out, you have to cover your face. Akivs, 41, suffers from hypertrichosis, a rare disease. His whole body and face are covered with unusual hair, looking like a wolf. Of the 50 or so hypertrichosis patients found worldwide so far, 13 are members of the same family in Loreto, Mexico. Akivas belongs to that family. Due to these physical limitations, he had to leave school at an early age and face various adversities such as not getting a job.

Hypertrichosis is a symptom of abnormal hair growth. People with this disease have to live an abnormal lifelong life just because they are physically different from others.
