South Korean technology giant Samsung plans to launch two new smartwatches based on Google's Wire OS. The news has come that the next Galaxy Watch will have Android instead of Tizen.

Samsung seems to be trying to get its way into Google's operating system by eliminating the wearable operating system in the case of smartwatches - their recent move indicates a lot.

Google's Wire OS, formerly known as Android Wire, is now popular with smaller smartwatch makers such as Fossil, Huawei and Tickwatch.

According to the Dutch site GalaxyClub, the model numbers for the two new Galaxy Watch devices will be SM-R6X and SM-R6X. The smartwatches are available in different sizes. The two watches will also have Bluetooth and cellular versions.

Samsung's upcoming smartwatch could be unveiled with the new Galaxy smartphone, Business Insider reported. The new smartwatch will be able to measure blood sugar (glucose) levels without any eavesdropping technology.

Samsung has recently updated its latest smartwatch. Now that model is capable of measuring blood oxygen levels, ECG and blood pressure.
