Can you technologically disappear?
The central part of Plato's Theory of Ethics was Invisibility. Philosopher referred to a myth in the Philosophical Masterpiece Republic called the Ring of Gyges. Once Lydia's poor and honest shepherd Guys entered a secret cave where he found a ring. The poor shepherd soon became agitated at the power of the ring. He became addicted to the emperor's wife and killed the emperor with his help. Plato meant that no one can control his repressed desire if he has the power to disappear. Plato said that all people are terrorists. Morality is a social reform that is applied from the outside to this internal terror. A person may be very polite, humble and modest from the outside for his reputation but once he acquires the ability to disappear. However, he can not be suppressed!
In his book Physics of the Impossible, Michio Kaku talks about four ways to disappear:
1. Metamaterial.
2. Nanotechnology.
3. Hologram.
4. Fourth Dimension.
Metamaterial - At one time it seemed impossible to disappear. But recently a new material has been developed through which it can disappear. This new material is called metamaterial. At one time it was thought impossible to create metamaterial because it violates the "Law" of optics But in 2006, researchers at Duke University broke the stereotype by creating an object that could be seen with other waves but not with a microwave. Now the question is, what is metamaterial made of? These are some substances that have no optical properties in nature. By placing a tiny implant that can deflect electromagnetic waves in an unconventional way. Scientists at Duke University set up a tiny electrical circuit with a copper band arranged parallel to it. A result of a complex combination. Copper A implant to move the microwave in a specific way Make a channel. Think of the flow of river water through the gravel, the water curves around the rock. Similarly, the metamaterial always distorts and bends the movement of the microwave due to which the light rotates around the cylinder and encloses everything inside the cylinder.
If metamaterial can hide both light and shadow, it can make you completely invisible! Scientists are trying to develop advanced metamaterials that will help us to disappear from ordinary light ...! And yes! The basic principle of metamaterials is index reflection which we will talk about later.
Hologram: A hologram is a 3D image created by a laser. A person can be made invisible by a hologram if the background is created with a special holographic camera and then a special type of holographic screen is placed in front of the person, which creates a 3D holographic image and background. You don't realize that what you are seeing is fake!
Fourth Dimension: HG Wells, in his book The Invisible Man, discusses the possibility of disappearing through the Fourth Dimension. If a three-dimensional butterfly continues to hover over a two-dimensional paper, it will disappear just as we become invisible in the Fourth Dimension. But the fact is that the fourth dimension has not been proven yet. And hypothetically it has been seen that our current technology does not have the amount of energy required to travel in the fourth dimension!
