In certain cases, we take a few more drastic steps to keep our community safe and report accounts to the relevant regulatory authorities.

Our community guidelines apply to everyone on TikTok, and to everything shared. They provide general guidance on what is allowed and what is not allowed on the platform. We also acknowledge that some of the content that may be removed in accordance with our guidelines may be important to the public. Therefore, we may allow exceptions in certain areas, as described in the following sections.

Dangerous people and organizations

We do not allow individuals or organizations to use our platform to promote terrorism, crime, or other types of behaviors that may cause harm. If there is a credible threat to public safety, we address the issue by banning the account and cooperating with the relevant legal authorities.

Terrorists and terrorist organizations

We prohibit the sale, sale, promotion and use of certain controlled goods, as well as the display or promotion of criminal activities. Hate speech
