At first ,they used to give less battery and storage but now they extended both the things. My Choice !!
As far as my choice is concerned , i have been the user of Samsung since 6 or 7 years. I'm still using Samsung Galaxy A6 ( 2018 ) which is running smoothly. So I'll vote in favour of SAMSUNG as it's going to be my choice for some next years.
I prefer Samsung over iphone because of its camera quality and Android operating system which is user friendly.
