2. Remove stains yourself
Did you know that onions can remove stains? There are two types of stains we have had success with using onion juice to remove ink stains and burn marks from the iron. If you have a fresh onion, you can simply cut it in half and rub the cut end over the stain. In other words, put the onion in a bowl by using a cheese grater, then take the shredded pieces and think over the stain and let it sit on the clothes for a period of between 8 to 10 minutes, and if necessary, repeat the ball until the mark of ink or stain disappears, and finally Wash it as usual.
3. Reducing bee sting pain
If you've been stung by a bee, an onion can help. After removing the stinger and washing the area, place the side of half of the onion piece on the area, this will help relieve the pain.
4. Reducing hair loss
One of the most incredible qualities of onions is that onions contain sulfur, which can increase blood flow to your hair follicles when applied to the scalp.
To create a scalp treatment, you will first need to: Extract the juice from the onion peel. You will peel the onion and then cut it into four pieces, then you will put it in a blender or squeeze it with your hand, after that, filter the juice. (Or simply use a juicer and clean it thoroughly after you're done.) Massage your scalp with onion juice and leave it for a period of between ten to fifteen minutes. If the onion smell spreads, cover your head with a shower cap. Finally, rinse your head with warm water, then shampoo and shower as normal.
5. Hide the signs of aging from the skin
Onions are a beauty remedy that smells a little foul, but in fact they help to mask signs of aging and other imperfections. Squeeze half a piece of onion, then pour it into a small bowl. Mix two teaspoons of white vinegar and two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. Apply the mixture to the mark you want to hide every morning and evening, and these marks will fade within weeks.
6- Get rid of skin pimples
Another great way to use onions as an aid is to remove pimples from your skin. Dip a slice of onion in apple cider vinegar and leave it for a few hours. Take an onion slice and place it on the bean, then cover it with a bandage. Do not forget to apply cotton to protect the area and leave it overnight. Repeat this recipe daily until the pill is gone.
7. Onions to get rid of earache
The oil in raw onions is an anti-ear infection, which means that onions may help relieve daily respiratory symptoms. Onions are one of the home remedies that we use in our family to treat earache. If you have tinnitus, take a piece of fresh onion and heat it in a microwave on a high setting for a minute. Wrap it with a small skin or a thin cloth so that it does not burn your skin, and then place it on the sick ear for a period of 20 to 30 minutes. Visit your doctor while the pain has increased or lasted for more than an entire day.
8. Repel insects away from plants
It's not just humans who hate the smell of onions, so if there is aphids (leaf-eating insects) or other insects that eat plants on your farm, the onions can keep them out. Chop the onion, then place it in a cup of water, and mash it until it becomes liquid. Pour the liquid into a plastic spray bottle and use it to mist the plants being eaten. For best results, try it after dawn, before sunrise.
9- Get rid of household odors
Onions can neutralize strong odors in the air. You only need to split the onion and put it in the room or the stinking cupboard, then the onion will be discarded after a few hours. Onions are also very good for getting rid of wall paint or freshly painted rooms and absorbing odors in the basement and garage.
10. Onions as a barbecue antiseptic
One of our favorite chef's most popular ways is to use onions as a barbecue sanitizer. It helps reduce smoke and improves the flavor of food on the grill, and is also good for grills in public places. Just cut the red onion in half, pierce it with a fork and dip it in water, then use it to wipe the grill rack once it is heated. Onion enzymes break down dirt and its antimicrobial properties aid disinfection.
I've been using onions all my life, and I've had hair loss problems, but I didn't know that onions have other uses.
