Shower of Blessings Today, the sky is gloomy dropping a hint of a storm that is coming our way. I can't stand but to look at the dark skies, feeling the heavy weigh it carries and watching as the rain started to downpour heavily, then, I said to myself, "this will take days before the sun comes out again". When we see that the weather condition is getting bad, the skies getting dark, the breeze getting cold, we instantly prepare ourselves for a problem that is set to approach us. We make sure to do the necessary preparations in order to secure ourselves and our family from the coming heavy rain. We put our things in its proper places in order to keep it from getting wet, we prepare our emergency bags, check if the flashlights' batteries are full or if we have spare ones, and we cook hearty meal for the family to dine and enjoy in the comfort of our home. A lot of people would say rainy days depects depressive season because we can only stay indoor, transactions are limited, our movements are bounded only in the four corners of our home, and we can not temporarily do the things we love to do outside. Our minds are clouded by negative thoughts. Thinking about scary situations that are worst to occur. Hence, some people opt to lay in bed, cuddle with a cozy duvet, watch movies, and sleep until the weather gets better. Well, all our feelings are valid. Each one of us has the right if we want to reciprocate the season that way. ***Dance in the Rain*** I can't help but to smile widely remembering the sweet memories of childhood while dancing in the rain. Those vivid emotions I've felt while I was soaked in the rain and playing with my friends, splashing the water all over our faces, running and chasing each other barefooted, laughing hard to our hearts' content and went home to our moms' sharp scolding because we did not ask permissions from them to play in the rain. And yet, we can never blame our parents' for their harsh reproof because they don't want us to get sick and at the end of day they only want to keep us safe. These memories are worth keeping. Something that we can look back into once we get older and share it to our future children. In our lives, in dealing with troubles and storms we need to embrace it and be like a child, just listen to the rhythm of the rain and learn how to dance with it. *Shower of Blessings* There are some instances and scenarios when we think of rain as a bad fortune, especially if it affects or costs life, and creates catastrophic events—flashfloods, landslides, overflowing of rivers and typhoon as the worst. We don't like rain when it gives negative effects in our lives. There are pros and cons about rain. Out of all the negativities it entail, have you ever asked yourselves, "Have I been grateful for the rain?", "Have I ever been appreciative of the gifts it offer to human life?" Rain is a blessing in disguise. First, it may come off bad but everything happens for a reason. We can never become strong if we only sail to a calm sea. Let us brace ourselves to sail through rough seas, hit gigantic waves, and don't let the strong wind waver our faith of surpassing it. Let us always tell to ourselves that life is not always about rainy days. There is life after the storm. Surely, the sun will peep again through the clouds and offer us its warmth. Do you know what rain symbolizes? Rain means abundance, gifts, and favor. It is one important factor to keep this world alive— a source of life. Sufficient rain makes plant continue to thrive, and bears fruit. It gives source of water for the animals and all living creatures to drink and suppress thirst. Good amount of rain makes the trees grow faster and helps prevent natural disasters. You see, it offers us so much that it makes life more wonderful . There's a lot more and I may not be able to name it one-by-one. We tend to forget about it all because sometimes we let bad thoughts creep into our system, and without knowing it, gradually, it corrupts our soul. So, let us not forget the true essence of it. Rain is a great reminder of God's goodness and favor, and it is a manifestation of His overflowing love towards us. Let us be grateful and enjoy the shower of blessings. *I hope you liked my article. The Waiting Season All throughout our lives we face different seasons — spring, summer, autumn and fall. These are the stages in our lives that begin during our first take of breath in this world up until we grow old and grey. *Spring* depects our life during childhood when life is a pure bliss. We think of nothing but to enjoy the simplicity and innocence of life. A time when we totally depend on our parents' help to give us what we need. Second is *Summer*, it is amazing how this season affects the rest of our lives. We become curious and unafraid to do new and exciting things . We want to experience life on our own and think to ourselves that we have the rights to do what we want to do, to experience life and to choose the paths we wanted to take. We want to be the captain of our own lives. Then, we transit to *autumn* and *fall*. A time when we finally sail to a rough see. A time to patch up things— correcting the undesirable decisions we made from the passing years. A time to conclude if we established the life wanted. It will be our life's greatest voyage. *In all of these seasons, we may experience the perfect balance of warm fuzzies and low spirits, acceptance and rejections, perfections and flaws, and victories and defeats. Not an easy journey but it is what it is that makes our life wonderful.* Each and every one of us has our own fair share of seasons. Right now may be you are in despair, loneliness or in wilderness and may think it is so hard to get out from the situation. It is a challege, so, be courages. Others, on the other hand, may be in their triumphal moments, in abundance and prosperity. Let us be genuinely happy and celebrate their victories. There are also a season for loss and healing, and a season for waiting. Two equally difficult season to embrace. Waiting season is a challenging time. It is our Creator's amazing plan for us to patiently wait on His perfect time, to test our faith and to believe in His promises in our lives. To wait for someone and something to happen is not an easy task, most especially if it is what our hearts longed to happen. We became impatient, and may think of tampering His plan, and forcing things to happen our ways. Remember, it takes a long time and pressure for a gold to be refined, and so, are His plan. For it written in *Isaiah 16:22 " When the time is right, I, the Lord will make it happen"*. Hence, ask through prayer for courage, patience and trust to continue to thrive, discern to do what is right and to enjoy your season of waiting. Hello everyone! I am a newbie here.
