Back to the Past: Alkansya Alkansya is the Filipino word for a piggybank or coin bank, and its purpose is to store money (coins and paper) for savings. When I was a kid, I used to leave pocket money (baon) and put it on my alkansya. I didn't use alkansya that came from the store or market at that time; instead, I used alternatives such as bamboo (I made one before - own design style), mineral water bottle, Johnson Baby Powder, and alcohol container. I missed those days when I saved money for toys, clothes, and shoes. Maybe most of you experience this and beg/ask your parents for coins. They will give you coins once you have finished your housework or schoolwork. SKL (Share Ko Lutang) 1. I caught my big brother getting my coins in my alkansya. (Sinusungkit gamit ang tsani) ahaha xD 2. I still have alkansya, but it's a box-type style. 3. Alkansya is still used by kids nowadays. Naalala ko meron ako alikansya nun yung palayok ahaha tas pag wala ako pambili ng paper doll hihiram ako ng batobalani(magnet) para masungkit ko sila 😂
naalala ko yan (may ganyan din ako) made in mud or yung same sa paso po na may kulay style. natawa ako sa batobalani - alam ko ang batobalani ay ginagamit sa kagat ng aso ahaha xD
