Poem about underneath What is underneath the makeup, a pretty face, the bodybuilder's muscles? What's underneath the tanned skin, the picture, and all the beautiful colors? What's underneath the ads, the laughter, and the table? What's underneath the rug? There is always something underneath. True stories about us. Tough or beautiful. Is facade hiding something? It would be nice not to hide. Is every smile sincere? It would be nice if it was. Are the ads accurate or are they misleading us? Does the picture tell what we really see or does it send a deeper message? If it's art, I accept that it can show something deeper. Is it just a saying to push problems under the table or under the carpet? Unfortunately, they are pushed! Powerful machines are the ones that push them. Underneath.
