In politics, Imran Khan is the founder and chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and after the 2018 Pakistani general elections he became the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Born in October 1952 in Mianwali, Punjab to a wealthy Pashtun family. His family later settled in Lahore where he spent most of his youth. As the only son of his parents and the brother of four sisters, he was often called a hardliner. Imran Khan has alwaysdenied this allegation. As a boy, he was considered a quiet and shy boy who often lived on his own. He was also very fond of cricket at school. Imran Khan studied at Aitchison College and then at the Cathedral School in Lahore. He then attended the Royal Grammar School in Worcester, England.

He then earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Oxford University's Cable College. During his time at Oxford, he also captained the Oxford University cricket team in 1974.

Imran Khan is a Pakistani cricketer and politician. He was a cricketer before entering politics. He was the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team that won the 1992 Cricket World Cup. In 1996, Imran Khan founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

On several occasions in cricket, Imran Khan was recognized as the best all-rounder after Sir Gary Sobers. He was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1989 and inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame in 2010. During his cricket career, he won several Player of the Match awards. He was honored on 11 occasions, five of which were against the West Indies cricket team.
